Star Island Resort

Has anyone stayed at this resort? I saw an add in my Sunday paper for this resort. It said it is 10 minutes away from Disney and right now they are running specials of $39 a night for a room that has a mini kitchen. It sounds really good and the pictures of the place look really good, but I have never heard anyone up here mention this place. We were thinking of this as another alternative as a place to stay on our December trip. Any ideas? <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

we are staying there in april, my mom has a time share there and we are using it this year. she was there last year and said it is very close and very nice. i will let you know, we come back on the 23rd.

we stayed there last may...it was very nice. It was clean and the drive wasn't very bad. They did have construction of the main road but, we left right after breakfast each day and returned for naps and an early dinner. The money we saved was well worth the effort.
