Birthdays at FW

Hello to all!

We will celebrate our son's 9th birthday while we are in FW this Aug. Do the CMs do anything special for a child's birthday?:Pinkbounc :bounce:

We have been at FW for my DD last 3 BDs and other than going up at the campfire sing-a-long and having everyone sing happy birthday nothing has happened. If she wears he Happy Birthday pin the CMs will all say Happy birthday and at the parks they make a big fuss over her but not much of anything at the campground.

We have been at FW for our anniversary and my wife's birthday and have had CMs bring a balloon and even a card with picture of Mickey and Minnie to our MH. Other times we have gotten nothing.

When you check in just mention that you will be celebrating your DS's birthday while there and maybe he might get a balloon.

Thanks for the info...........I'm hoping he gets a little something from the CMs at FW. I'll let them know at check in that we are celebrating a birthday....................:sunny:

We were there in May and celebrated our grand daughter's 5th. We ate supper at Trails End and our grand son told the CM that it was his sister's birthday. At the end of the meal, they brought out a delicious birthday cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. She was thrilled. The cake was big enough for 4 adults and 2 little ones and 1/2 went back to the room for later.

I am hoping something extra special happens for our dear boy....he doesn't like cake, (I know, he's kinda strange) but it would be nice to have a few balloons or something unplanned.......we'll see.....he's so excitied to be going there for his b-day!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

we just got back and celebrated our 12th anniversary and our niece's 5th birthday. If you go to the sing a long they will have you come up on stage and sing to you. We had everything noted on all of our ressies and nothing special happened. Ask for a birthday pin in each park and downtown disney as they are all different. If you happen upon a nice CM he may get a call from Goofy. My niece wore her pin 5 days and only one CM offered the call. She did get a cupcake at Whispering Canyon and a cookie to paint at the princess breakfast. She enjoyed everyone wishing her a happy birthday (they saw the pins).
