We will be arriving in MCO Saturday morning...We will be staying at WDW, but need a rental car because we like to eat offsite and will be going out in Orlando downtown that night and Sunday night. We will be taking a cruise Monday through Friday, and returning to Universal Friday morning and staying until Sunday afternoon. We want a car when we get back from the cruise, for Fri-Sun.

How can we do this? Rent a car for the whole week and just eat the cost Mon-Fri? If we rent a car at the airport, can we drop it off at Port Canaveral? What about renting when we get off the boat on Friday morning? I know nothing about transfers to Port Canaveral..is there a shuttle we can take? I can't believe I'm such a Disney freak and don't know the answers to these questions. Throwing a cruise into the mix has messed my plans UP!

Sounds like a nice trip. I am sure you will get some specifics, but mousesavers is a good start.

I think Dan pointed you in the right direction with the website but I'll add my 2 cents anyways. I know Avis has an office at the Radisson at Port Canaveral about a mile from the Port. We rented a car from there after our cruise. You could then take a shuttle from their to your ship. I'm not sure what kind of rate you would get from Avis but it's worth looking into for convienence reasons.
