care package question...are cream savers okay?

my dh's cousin was re-activated and sent to egypt. we're putting together a care package for him. I read the suggestions below, thanks! would love to hear any others, too. I bought a bunch of stuff today, including jolly ranchers, but grabbed a bag of chocolate cream savers. they are hard candy, so hoping they are okay. thought I'd check and see what you all think, though.

They should be okay. They may get a little sticky, but as long as they are hard candy, he will still get to enjoy them! God bless him!
