using credit cards/counter service in parks?

this is a dumb question. i've been to WDW 43 times, I SHOULD know the answer to this! i'll blame it on my neuro patient brain.

Can you use credit cards at places like Cosmic Ray's and Harbor House?

DH and I hate to carry cash on vacation but want to eat some counter service meals and want to plan ahead so we don't have to keep jogging to the ATM lol.

YES is the answer.:cool: Some food carts don't take credit cards but counter service does.:)

will take credit cards, no problem. Last Fall when we were there, one of the CM at a cart said they would soon be able to take credit cards at even the carts. He said they were experiementing with a machine that was portable that could do this. That would be nice!

Yes I heard this too!
Not only will they take credit cards...but also room keys w/ charging abilities on it. :) (which you can also use at counter service places)

We were there over July 4th and a coke cart in EPCOT took my credit card (I gave all my cash to DH to hold....dumb); so it looks like soon everyone will have CC processing abilities.
