Hi All-

To you frequent Southwest Air travelers- their dating drives me nuts! We are headed down to WDW on 12/9 and retunr 12/13. Just figures that they are only booking thru 12/11 right now. So I can get our flight down but not the return. Have you ever just booked one leg of your flight and then booked the return flight at a later date when the dates are available?

Thanks!

Just keep in mind if you buy one way tickets you will be subject to extra screening at the airport. Just allow extra time for the screening since they see it as a security risk.

Sounds like we're almost in the same boat (or is it plane?), campinggal;)

Our trip (Myself, DW, and 2 boys), has us leaving Philly on Dec. 9, and returning on the 14th.

Here's what we did...
When SW listed the new fares last week, rather than wait, I went ahead and purchased our four tickets for the flight down, and am now waiting for the next update to purchase for the flight back home.

Just keep in mind if you buy one way tickets you will be subject to extra screening at the airport. Just allow extra time for the screening since they see it as a security risk.

We will have return tickets in hand, just that they won't be on the exact same itinerary. Will we still be considered a 'risk'?

If so, a little extra precaution isn't going to bother us...
