Three days, four theme parks, and an evening at Downtown Disney later, my summer vacation at Port Orleans Riverside was almost over.

The day began with one last trip to the Riverside Mill for breakfast. I’m not sure I’ll ever get use to all the new “Riverside” names here. It’s been twice I’ve stayed here since the name changed and I still call it Dixie Landings. Oh, well. After breakfast I headed on to Fulton’s General Store for one more look. I bought some postcards to send and a new addition to my Disney collection- a pin lanyard. I got it mostly to have a place where I could keep all my pins more that actually wearing it in the park, but you never know. Maybe I’ll wear it and try my hand a pin trading on my next trip. I stayed in the lobby to write out a postcard and get it into the mail before I left.

After leaving the lobby area, I headed back to my room one last time. First, though, I decided to take the long way to take a walk past all the different mansions in Magnolia bend. I’ve been going to this resort so many times that by now I’ve stayed at them all at least once. It’s always nice to see the buildings since they all bring back memories of past trips.

All trips must come to an end and the time had come to head out. It had been a fun trip, but I was ready to go home. I stopped by the room for one last time and left.
Thanks to everyone who has read my trip reports and thanks for being so patient waiting for me to finally post this one after more than a year! I thin I’m finally caught up now with trip reports. Hope you enjoy them.
