Back in 1 piece!

well here I am finally back from my youth hostelling trip with 3o 9 year olds, just about in one piece and miraculously so are they!! I said I would be back with you on Wednesday but unfortuanaely I caught the rather nasty stomach bug that swept it's way through the class!! AHH. I don't think I need to go into details for you to imagine what the trip was like. 30 very excited kids away from home for the first time, then a stomach bug hits. LOTS of vomit!! I won't say anymore!!

Any way, we did manage to have some fun. And I do feel much better now. Anyway 2 weeks tomorrow off on holiday, bring it on!!

I'm glad you're all back safely. It's such a responsibilty looking after other people's children. We had a tummy bug run through our Brownies at Pack Holiday years ago now. I remember how awful it was as they were in bunk beds (I'll leave the rest to your imagination), luckily we were close enough for the parents to collect their sickly little dears.

2 weeks to recover your strength! Have fun.

Bunk beds were a factor for us as well!!! A very unpleasant top bunk incident occurred!!

Your experience reminds me about the time my DW took 24 Brownies away on pack holiday. They had an outbreak of headlice and nearly all of the 24 girls were infested!! I got an urgent phone call to go down to the local chemist to get 10 bottles of lice shampoo and drive them over to her! Can you imagine the reaction I got going into a chemist and buying 10 bottles of lice shampoo!!
