What is the deal with children under 3? Free?

I have read somewhere that children under 3 are free at some restaurants. Is it all sit down restaurants or just the character meals? Buffets? Thank you! BTW my DD is 2. :D

The child will not be charged at a buffet or family style restaurant. If you choose to order a separate meal for the child at any of the other restaurants, you will be charged for it.

That's right. They are only free at buffets or pre-plated restaurants.

They are free at menu restaurants if you don't order them anything!

If you order them something, then they are not free.
