If you have done these, how many yards did you use per blanket. I am making the no-sew blanket for my daughter who is moving north to Ohio. Don't want her freezing up there.

are you wanting to make a lap size? or a bedspread?
also are you thinking of the no sew ones that you slice the edges with a rotary cutter & then tie? those are sooo fun & fast to make. I just got 2 pieces of coordinating fleece that are the same size - you can make it any size you'd like. What a lucky daughter! it'll keep her warm :sunny:

Big enough to cover her. The fleece is 56 wide and I bought 4 yards for the blanket and another yard to do a matching pillow.

Talking Hands,
here are a couple of instructions for the tied fleece blankets
if you only have one piece, you could just hem around the edges
I have seen those kinds for sale in stores.

I made some last Christmas and then made pillows for all the kids-I buy for......it was about 12 or so pillows. Very easy, I tied the fleece while watching tv at night. For the kid size blankets I used 1 1/2 yards of each. I would probably buy more for an adult. They are a lot of fun and it was great to have so many patterns available.

Hers will be black at her request. I learned to make the pillows a few months ago at an interpreters conference when we had a craft and social time. Brought mine home and the girls went crazy over them. I love how soft and comfy the pillows are.
