View Full Version : Cheap flights from Ottawa

I've seen several post about good deals to fly out of Buffalo. Because we live in Ottawa I was wondering if anyone had any experience flying from an American city closer to us (Syracuse is about the only one I can think of). Anyone have any suggestions? We are going mid to end of October. We were planning on driving but if we could get some decent airfares we might consider flying.

We are supposed to drive to Orlando from Ottawa on the 19th of October and start back on Nov 2nd. Would love cheap airfares but are not holding our breath...

Hi Jonglau. How long would it take you to drive to Albany? I know that Southwest flies out of Albany as well as Buffalo, and sometimes they offer some great prices. Their website is here (http://www.southwest.com/cgi-bin/buildItinerary2) , but just at the moment there are some serious problems with it. Looks like somebody moved in some changes without testing them. Normally, though, it should work and provide you with schedules and prices.

We are going almost the exact same dates as you.
We are going on the Disney cruise from Oct.20 to 27th and then staying at Boardwalk until Nov.2. We just got tickets for the Micky Halloween Party on Oct 27th.

We live in Orleans, what part of Ottawa are you from?

I will be sure to let you know if we find any cheap fares but if not we will probably be leaving on Oct 18 so that we are there in time to board the ship.

We are staying off-site at Magic Castle Inn and Suites. We havn't bought the tickets yet for MNSSHP because we are affraid that my fiance's new job might not allow us to go till January but we are still hoping.

We have a small condo in Gloucester(Beacon Hill)
I got transfered to Kanata with my work for Loblaws and my fiance got laid off from Nortel. (Who wasn't!!!LOL!!)

We have most of the $$$ saved to go but it will still be a budget trip.

Do you have kids? We don't.

We are 29 and 32 yrs old and this will be my fiance's first trip. Hope to see ya there...;)
