Thought I could finally get to a Dis meet. I was ready to head for Kennywood on the 15th but just got word of the death of a longtime close friend of the family. She died in FL but the memorial service will be here on Aug 15th. Hope to see everyone at next meet in the Pittsburgh area. Have a great time.

DH and I will be pretty easy to spot, too.. He's under 4 ft. tall, and I'm under 3, and we both use motorized wheelchairs. We kind of stand out in a crowd.. of course, I always say it's because of my red hair. :teeth:

Well, I hope everyone had a good time. Unfortunately, DH woke up with a hideous cold, so we decided a day at Kennywood was probably not the best idea. Poor thing -- he can barely talk. :( He even had to call in sick (he was supposed to go in for a few hours this afternoon), because his job is answering phones! Well, I can't wait to hear all about the meet, and hopefully we can make it next time there's a Pittsburgh meet. :)

Hil, it was a SMALL meet - me, my DH, our 2 DS's and Barry. We had a good time - great weather - lines weren't too bad. Got a pic of Barry with Kenny Kangaroo - I'll try to post it once I figure out how to upload a pic from my computer to the boards.
