We are going to WDW in December:

I'll be there December 16-23. I will have two other women with me but only for part of the trip; I will be solo the rest of the time. I'm not sure yet how much solo time I will have - the other two are still finalizing their plans.

This will be my first solo trip, and I'm really looking forward to it. I love visiting WDW with my family, but it's going to be great having some time in the World all to myself!

I will be staying offsite (Orange Lake) from December 18 to Jan. 1. First time I've stayed during Christmas. I always come a week earlier. As a disappointment, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party's evening program's last night is December 17. I've have to see if I can arrive a day or two earlier. Do they have a special program for Christmas eve? Christmas day (other than the parade)?

I already have my ticket for Dec. 2 and may also be solo would love to meet you guys..........I usually make PS for 1900 Park Fare for about 4pm then catch the monorail to the park for the party but am open for other ideas. More than likely I will be solo, just waiting for a friend to make up her mind!

When are you going? I'm actually planning on being in Florida on Nov. 30th, but thought I would spend the first few days with my sister up in Lady Lake.. May also add a day on the end if possible..

Almost sounds like a mini meet in the making here.. :) Are all of you staying on Disney property? I'm hoping to get that elusive email and if so, I'll try to get a room at the Pop Century.. Otherwise I'll be staying offsite in the cleanest, cheapest, safest motel I can find..

I'm staying at the WL and have the MVMCP tickets for the 2nd. At this time it looks as though I will be solo, no prince charming, but maybe that will change :D And my girlfriend has not given me a concrete answer YET. But I will defineately be there, have not missed a MVMCP in many years!

Wll my "solo" trip is no longer solo - LOL - but I'm still up for meeting with folks on Dec. 2nd - at the end of the MVMCP (so as not to have the meet interefere with peoples fun/family time)..

I have suggested we gather at the train station near the exit of MK while everyone else is making a mad dash to the parking lot and busses..

I have one of those cute lime green Mickey head paint chips from Home Depot that I'm going to write my user name on, but they're pretty small and not visible from a distance so I'm thinking about purchasing the DIS lime green fanny pack before I go..

DH can't make it this year, so I'm going solo! I spent a solo day back in May, and can't wait to have some more time to myself.

I will be arriving Dec. 10 early evening and leaving Dec. 15 in the morning. I plan on doing MVMCP on Sunday, Dec. 12. I also have signed up for Jim Hill's Magic Kingdom Tours - Presented by DisneyCentral.com Sunday morning.

If there are any solo's out there for this time frame, I would enjoy meeting anyone!

KittyKitty, I may be going to the 12/9 MVMCP solo as well. Not 100% sure yet. I'm going on the 7th, but may pick up the 9th as well, but it will be a last minute decision after I see the Jellyrolls schedule for the week :)

Also, if anyone is interested, I am still planning a Jellyrolls meet on December 10th at 8:00 pm. Guaranteed to be a blast :)

I'll be there solo from the 12th through the 18th. Two days at PO-Riverside and the rest at BCV. My first truly solo trip. I've had two trips where I had a day or two to myself before others arrived, but this one is just me for almost the entire week. (I have an uncle in St. Petersburg who plans to come out for a day.)

I'm having fun planning it, but not planning the park stuff so much, I've seen it all except for the new Stitch. But I'd like to actually enjoy the resorts a bit more, sit on a beach for an hour or two, go out at night and enjoy it instead of being tired from on the go all day long. I have an AP and am a DVC member so this trip really was already paid for except for the flight so I'm looking forward to a relaxing trip at Disney. That will be a change.

Actually, one of the two days I had solo in August was very relaxing. It was the day after I had flown down. The day I got there was the morning after Hurricane Charley, so I spent about 8 hours of that day in Washington D.C. trying to find a connecting flight that wasn't cancelled. I made it about 10PM to the resort, so the next day I treated myself to a massage at the spa at Boardwalk. THAT WAS RELAXING. I couldn't bring myself to go on any rides after that, my body was too relaxed to ruin it! Definitely plan on another one of those this trip! :hyper:

Hello! You are going at the best time to enjoy the resorts! I could plan an entire vacation around visiting the resorts and enjoying their Christmas activities!

I will be there Dec. 10-15. It's my favorite time of year. You get to enjoy all the festivities, without the Christmas rush!

Hello! I'm afraid I will just miss you! Arriving on the 10th in the evening! Jellyrolls is a bar type atmosphere with dueling piano players. I've never been, but it sounds like a whoot!
The parks are beautiful at that time of the year. Have a wonderful time!

I'm planning on MVMCP on 12/12, probably EPCOT on 12/13, Jellyrolls on 12/14th (cast member night) DEFINITELY (and maybe again on the 15th and 17th, cause I LOVE it there) and Pleasure Island on the 16th (cast member night). It's a solo trip, but if any other solo-ers or non-solo-ers are around those nights and want to join, feel free. This is a solo have fun and enjoy stuff I don't get to enjoy when concentrating on parks trip! :)

I just love this board..... I'm leaving for my first solo trip in two days. My husband and adult sons act like I have three heads wanting to go to Disney by myself. I felt like the ugly duckling and then I found this message board with all these beautiful swans --- just like me. :cloud9:

After all the trips with various combinations of people -- husband/kids/parent/girlfriends of kids etc, it seems like such a wonderful indulgence to go by myself.

Will be there Dec 10-13, staying at AKL. First night just my sister and me...then 2 gal friends join us (from Tampa). We're definitely doing Fantasmic and Osbornes at MGM on Sat and CP with dinner on Sunday at Epcot...but the rest is open. Couldn't get tickets for MVMCP on Friday evening so MAY go to Islands of Adventure on Friday.

If these times jive with anyones...maybe we could do a breakfast or coffe meet on Saturday morning? I'll make sure to pick up my lime green ears from Home Depot!
