I have a question about tickets. What is the difference between a "Star" ticket and an "Adventurer" ticket?

We received a free certificate for two adults - two days and we have a choice between Star and Adventurer. We have never been to Universal, so forgive me if this question has a simple answer. :)

I believe the Star ticket is admission to USF. The Adventurer ticket gets you into IOA.

I think a 2 day USF only ticket has always been called the Star ticket. I think you can get these tickets only as a complimentary or timeshare ticket.

Both these tickets you mentioned are special rate tickets that are sold in bulk solely to timeshare companies. These tickets are typically given away free or at a very reduced rate after someone has attended a 90-minute presentation/sales pitch for a timeshare.

The Star ticket is a 2-day ticket to Universal Studios ONLY. The 2nd day MUST be used within 7 days of the 1st day.

The Adventurer ticket has the same restrictions, although it is good for IOA ONLY.

Thank you for the quick replies! I guessed that "Star" referred to US and "Adventurer" referred to IOA, but I didn't know the restrictions - thanks CoasterFEV!
