Need doughnut recipe for Doughnut Express

Hi all you great cooks
I have bought a set of 3 doughnut pans - (3 sizes)
it is called 'Doughnut Express'.
(Kinda like cupcake pans but has doughnut shaped indents to bake batter in - comes with a pastry thing to add jelly filling to some if you want...)
I didn't particularly like the recipe I tried from the little booklet that was enclosed. Tasted too much like a cupcake..
Has anyone else bought this & do you have a nice recipe for baked doughnuts?
