Hello everyone,

In two weeks I will be returning to Walt Disney World since I was in elementary school. From what I remember there were people selling 4-day hopper plus passes in ticket booths for as low as $150. In an attempt to save money, I am considering purchasing tickets from one of these sellers. I'm not sure whether or not these sellers are legitimate. Has anyone bought tickets from independant sellers? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Have a magical day!

DO NOT buy from those stands!!! Half the time they are already used tickets and have the incorrect amount of days/options, etc... on them.

Instead visit these licensed ticket brokers! (thanks to mousesavers.com)

Ticketmania (http://www.ticketmania.com/discounttickets.shtml)

Florida Orlando Tickets (http://www.floridaorlandotickets.net/discounted_tickets.html)

Paramount International Travel (http://www.gopitravel.com/orderTickets.asp)

Out of these three I reccomend Ticketmania because I have used it before and had absolutely NO PROBLEMS and every pass was brand new and legit!

Hope that helps.

I will second that!!
Under no circumstances should you deal with those booths. Before 9/11, I remember how the people who run them used to wander around the lounges where people were on their way home, claiming, "I need tickets for a boy scout group (or church group or whatever). Does anyone have any tickets with unused days?"
If you are caught with those tickets, Disney will deny you entry and also call the police, and you will not get your money back.
We have used Ticketmania with no problems. Stick with the legit vendors or you never know what you might get.
