My friend called this morning and asked for the "Disney advice expert." WDW I can do, but I've never been to DL. She's leaving tomorrow with her DH on his business trip. While he's occupied with business, she's planning on spending two days at DL. Her DD is almost a year and a half and very alert/aware. She's pregnant with #2, so I know she won't be going commando. Are there babycare centers at DL? Does fastpass work the same? Any and all help is appreciated. Experts, I'm counting on you! TIA!

There's a baby care center near the center of Main Street on the right side facing the castle--there's a little "side" street area--the lockers and Main Street Cone Shop are down there. Tell her to look for the fruit stand and Disney Clothiers on Main Street and to turn into that area. Fastpass works the same, except that at DL there are some "disconnected" machines which allows you (if you know what they are) to hold several FPs at once.

I thought the baby care center was more towards the end of Main Street, before you turn right to Tomorrowland...at least that's where it was in 2001...

Actually, so did I, but I checked a very recent park map (from last month) and it shows it near Disney Clothiers and the Cone Shop.

My advice would be to buy the book The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland. It's really great for advice on many levels, and the touring plans in the back are great.
Mousesavers.com and Mouseplanet.com are websites with a ton of info on all the Disney parks and worth a look also.
Have lots of fun!!!::MickeyMo

They're leaving soon, so thanks for the help! I think I will go buy the book for her.
I can't imagine being very pregnant and holding a toddler on my lap for a (basically) transcontinental flight. :eek:
