Does anyone know if there is a place onsite at WDW to have digitals printed? You know, one of those machines, or something like it? Any help is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that the machines you can use to download pics to a CD also have printing cability. They're located in Exposition Hall in MK, in the Sundries Shop at the Contemporary, and at the Photo Pickup place in Epcot.

I believe there is a Kodak picture maker at every park.

I used the one in MK. I can't remember the name of the shop (first timer) but it's the first shop on the right when you go in. Goofy sits on the bench outside.

Anyway, it's VERY SLOW. I just downloaded my pictures onto a CD and I swear it took a 1/2 hour. That was just for transferring. I didn't have any pictures made. Also, the CD is $12.99.

The first time I needed to empty my card I went to Walmart, which was much cheaper. But I guess you are paying for the convenience (certainly not the speed)

Do you have a laptop you can bring along?? My DH and I did this in May and he transferred all the pictures I took during the day onto the laptop every night. That way I had a fresh/empty card for the following day!! I ended up taking 1200+ pictures on that trip which would have cost a fortune/and it seems a lot of time to put on CDs!!! Hope this helps!

I do have a laptop, but I think I'm gonna buy a roadstor before my trip so that I can transfer from my flash card to a cd in the evening. I thought it might be nice to be able to print a few pictures (I get so anxious, I can't wait until I get home!) I think I'll check out the machine at the exposition center in MK and see how that works. Does anyone remember the prices?

I'm just jumping into this whole digital world. I didn't even realize that you could transfer pics from your flash card onto a cd on one of those machines. That's cool! I may do that instead of buying a roadstor. Anyone have any idea how much it costs outside of WDW (like at Wal Mart or someting) to transfer your pics?

To put pictures on CD I believe it's like 3.82. I use walmart to print mine all the time.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond - I forgot to subscribe to this thread. A roadstor is a device that allows you to insert a flash card (or other digital camera media) and it reads your card and burns it to a cd at the push of a button. I think it's fairly new. I read about it in a digital camera magazine.
You can also use it to show your pictures on a tv, as a dvd player, or mp3 player. It's a pretty cool deal!
I just received it in the mail and haven't used it yet, but I'll let you know how it turns out.

The MSRP price is $299 I think. I bought one on ebay that was refurbished with a one year warranty for $145. Here's a link to the site with all the specifics:

Thanks! I can't find much about them. That helps. :)
