I'd love the hotel right at the airport, but it only has two beds. Where do families of 5 stay?

You might try one of the suite hotels near the airport like Sheraton Suites or Amerisuties. Hotwire will tell you if the property is a suite style property or you can use a consolidator (valuetrips.com) for a decent rate.

Yes, that is a good suggestion. My husband travels in his work and I finally got him to sign up on 'frequent stay' programs. He has earned several free nights stays at several different chains. We now have the option of staying free the first night at a number of different places. He likes FREE!

My husband works for Marriot and we tend to stay at their Residence Inns. I know many of them have rooms that sleep 5 at reasonable rates. We stayed at a very nice one next to Sea World on this last trip. It's brand new and has a free breakfast buffet included the next morning too - a big buffet, not just your light continental breakfast offerings.

We stayed at the Sheraton Suites....2 separate rooms ..one with 2 doubles and then the living room had a pull out couch..

We stayed there the night before we left for an early morning flight...checked in, dropped off luggage, returned car and caught the shuttle in the am..

I cannot say enough about this place...clean, spacious, etc.

The Hawthorn Suite Lake Buena Vista is really nice. You can get a one bedroom with 2 beds and a sleep sofa. There are 2 tvs and a kitchen. You even get breakfast for free!

Thanks for the new ideas. I have some reviews to read and prices to check!
