Is complimentary valet parking when dining at a resort restaurant one of the benefits of this card? It seems to me that it was at one time, but I don't see it listed at Deb Wills' site, and I haven't found any reference to DDE on the Disney site.
TIA for any available info!

I couldn't find any thing about free valet on Disney's site. The DDE information is listed under the Florida resident section. But I did find this on Deb's site.
Are you going to dine at a WDW restaurant that offers valet parking? If so, show your DDE card to the valet and you won't have to pay the $6 charge. (Do remember to tip the valet :)
It's in the middle of the page just before it starts listing the restaurants.
Enjoy the card, it saves tons of money.

Used it in May and yes we received free valet parking. We were dining at GF and had no problems. Just show the valet desk and you should be fine.

Hey, AirForceRocks --- Quick question - Did Disney really send you your DDE card and newsletters to a non-FL address? We're Navy, are FL Residents, own a FL home - but are rarely in FL (due to that Navy thing) - so getting my card has been a huge hassel, and I have NEVER rec'd my newsletters. Just curious - Thanks!! The two previous times I bought the card, the wouldn't mail it to an address outside of Florida, so I had to have it sent to a family member in Florida who then forwarded it to me. I never received a newsletter at all.
But when I called to order my card for this trip, the CM said that sending the card out of state would be no problem. I'll give it a couple of weeks and see what happens. I'll let you know when/if I receive it.

nasmith, I received my card today, so yes, the policy has definitely changed! WDW will now mail the DDE cards to out of state addresses.
Thumbs up to Disney for making it a little bit easier for us out-of-state-staters.

May I ask how long it took to receive your card? We live in Germany and when I called to inquire about the card they said to call back 1 Nov to order it. We leave Germany Dec 10 for Florida and I am wondering if we wouldn't be better of sending it to my in-laws in Florida rahter than our APO address???

I ordered mine on 2 Jul and it arrived yesterday (14 Jul), so I think that a month would be fine if you were here. Also, if the card doesn't arrive before you leave, you can call WDW and they will fax you a letter to use for the DDE discounts/benefits.
