1900 Park Fare

We are going to WDW Dec. 4 - 8, and going MVMCP on Sun. Dec. 5. We are thinking about an early dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Any comments? Is this character dinner dressier than the others? We are taking our dd6, dd4, ds2, and ds2, my girls just love Cindy, especially the 4 year old.

We loved 1900 Park Fare. It is so much more relaxed than breakfast at the castle. The buffet was one of our favorites. We actually celebrated dd's birthday there in Jan. Prince Charming was wonderful. He kept coming around, as well as Suzy and Pearla. You hardly ever see that at one of the Princess Breakfasts! The wait staff was really attentive to our group, there were 10 of us. The Fairy Godmother in the foyer really starts the dinner of with lots of magic. We saw people dressed in all sorts of clothing. Wear what you are comfortable in. My dd's are big into princess costumes so most character meals they wear their princess outfits.

We did this dinner in June and it is now our favorite character meal! The food was excellent and we had the best character interaction we've had anywhere. The prince was, indeed, very charming and the mice just could not stop hugging and kissing my 13 year old ds! (Don't worry, he loved it) Cinderella was beautiful and very sweet. They all came around several times and were very much in character. We will definitely do this one again.

1900 Park Fare was by far our favorite restaurant on this trip to WDW. The character interaction was incredible. We met with all the characters 2 times during our dinner. And they were great with kissing and hugging all of us. Our waitress was just incredible and she put Cinderella stickers on all of us before we left. She had a great sense of humor. We dressed in shorts and t-shirts because we were going to e-ride night afterwards but we saw women in dresses and men in shirts and ties. The food was really good. My DH kept going up for more prime rib so the guy finally whacked off a huge piece for him. lol! Be sure to try the macaroni and cheese. It is to die for!

The last post kinda answered one of my questions, I wanted to ask if the meal was an all-you-can-eat.
How good are the deserts, really fancied ordering glass slipppers for eveyone for a treat.
Got my first evr PS for there, we are eating an early dinner and then going to magic kingdom for SM an fireworks (if there is one, if hours are ever posted!) Can we park at GF, eat dinner, then use monorail to get into MK and the same again at the end of the night. Thanks, Rachel:wave:

at 1900 Park Fare is to die for. I could make a meal on that alone and almost did. We all loved it and plan to do it again on our next trip.

When we ate dinner there in april only one lady in the (full) restaurant was dressed up.

Everyone else was casual, most looked like they came from the parks.

I think the desserts were good, I was too full to eat much more than the strawberry soup.
