Am I being silly and tempting fate?

This year I fell in Cozumel and fractured my humerus ( upper arm) in 4 places.
Now I have learned a lot from this expierence :
a) never ever complaing about an Ontario hospital again:rolleyes:
b) never put a foot in a pot hole before you get to Diamond's International:eek:
c) always check when RBC says your covered ( and your not) re trip interruption insurance :mad:
d) always practice doing certain things, ie brushing teeth with both hands, so you're never stuck when you lose the use of one:earseek:

So I ask you fellow Dis'ers am I being silly :crazy: booking another cruise that will be stopping in Mexico ( yes Cozumel) or should I just stay home:scared: ? I know my two DD's with my Mom in tow will probably walk me like this:crowded: if they even let me get off the ship. So help me decide :confused: what I should do!!

I think it's like getting back on a horse after falling off ... if you don't go again as soon as you can, you'll forever associate the accident with "Mexico" and not just an unfortunate accident.

I'd agree about the hospitals there though ...

I'm generally the queen of ankle injuries - there are plenty of potholes here too!

Ok, I've done it.....:) We have booked on another western Carribbean cruise ( this one isn't Disney though ) for next May.::yes::

I have a feeling that for Christmas I will be getting a plastic bubble suit with very, very, large buubles!:rolleyes:

We thought we would try another cruise line, and for less than the price of a cat 5 on DCL we have two cabins on this other line.
One is a blacony cabin and the other is an inside cabin but has a window overlooking the promenade shopping area. My DD's will be doing things like rock wall climbing, ice skating and rollerblading, while I think I will stick to mini-golf and low bar chairs.
Mississaugamom, I have quite a bit of hardware in my right ankle also.
Actually, on my wedding day, people said we would have children ( whether we planned them or not :eek: )

I just have to make it to Diamonds International;) , and I'll know, that the curse is broken!! ( silly ambulance driver wouldn't stop last time:)
