With all the requests, of whose from where, why not a poll splitting the country into sections?

From originally, or where from now, or anyway we care to answer?

The Ohio voters need to explain that you have to ask the KY folks:
"Where are ya'll from?"

ClarabelleCow

sorry peter - yup Michigan should have been in the Mid West, but I cant fix it, I guess the moderators have to! Hopefully, that's the only state I missed, except the state of confusion, which I am currently in!!!!

Why are FL and SC in their own category? Geographically, I'd put them both in the south (though real southerners know Florida is *not* part of the south! ;) )

My guess is because they are closest to WDW (of course, then so is GA for that matter ;) )

I am from England. We live in a county called Essex but we are on the outskirts of London and rather confusingly, live in a London borough. There is a train station at the end of our road and my husband can be in the City of London in around 35 minutes.

We would LOVE to move to the US, possibly north Florida as we are sick of the way our country is going (sorry to be negative) but US immigration don't let us English folks in easily!!!!!

Pooh - I put them in their own catergory because both states have DVC property? Thinking about it now I'm sure I had other meaningful reasons, but don't know what they are?

Hi Poohj80! I have been here in the Magic City of Birmingham for 17 years and it has been the Magic City that long:earsboy:

My DH says that it has been called the Magic City since the 1800's. Not sure why, but we'll look it up::yes::

Now I know where you are in Sweet Home Alabama too:teeth:

I'll just bet there are a ton more nicknames for cities in Alabama, we live in just that kind of state don't we? ::yes::

I'm partial, however, to the Magic City AND the Rocket City: two of my favorites.

Have a great Fourth of July up there:goodvibes:
