This is probably the wrong place to post this, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a ringtone, so I'll put it here in the Budget Board!
Anyway, does anyone have a Disney Ringtone for their cell phone? I have Cingular, but the ringtones they offer don't appeal to me. I would love to have a Disney one(or even the "8675309"--Jenny song from the 80's since my name is Jennie). It seems like all the websites that I've found with the Disney ringtones are from the UK and I'm afraid they won't work with my phone.
TIA~

I found some Disney ringtones at this site. They
are pretty cheap. The ones I saw were either
$.99 or $1.49. Just do a search for the title you
are interested in. I didn't check to see if they
do Cingular. They don't do Verizon, which is
what I have. Boo hoo!

Thanks! I tried doing a search again and actually answered my own question--if anyone has a Samsung phone they are having a Disney sweepstakes and when you sign up for their "Fun Club" you can download a couple of Disney ringtones for free! The rest are $1.99! I didn't find my "Jenny" song, but I did get the Mickey Mouse March for free! I tried the "It's a Small World" but it didn't sound like the It's a Small WOrld I know so I didn't keep it, but the Mouse March is cute!

I have Verizon and I was able to download the Disney Ringtones. I have the Mickey Mouse March, which is pretty cool.
You can download it from the 'Get It Now' option. I got about 32 of them for $1.99 one-time charge.
Hope this helps.

I bought "Zip-a-dee-do-da" from the AT&T site for $1.99. They had several Disney songs available. Now that they're merging with Cingular, maybe you can get one from there?

these arent free though, i beleive they are .50 a peice, you just type in your number and they send it to you, when you recieve the message you have to save the tone to your phone.
i looked everywhere for disney ringtones for cingular phones.

I'm also interested in the Mickey giggle--my ds would love that.
Jenny, I went to samsung's website and signed up for their "Fun Club" and there are ringtones, wallpaper and such you can get there. I had a little problem with the website through AOL though(kept telling me to make sure cookies were enabled, and they were, but it kept popping me back to the main page) so I logged on through Internet Explorer and it worked fine.
I got it through our sell phone companies website. www.telus.ca I don't know if they are available to anyone or just Telus subscribers. My dh has a goofy one that is really cute as well.

Per use as in connection or per use as in each one of the 32 cost you $1.99 each... I have Get It Now and would LOVE to be able to download that many for 2 bucks, I paid $13.00 for 7 ringtones from another company.

I have sprint too and can't find it. So far an internet search found me this news clip which sounded real cute:
WDIG to Offer Ring Tones Featuring Character Voices to Sprint Wireless Customers
_
Walt Disney Internet Group today announced that it is developing character voice ring tones that will bring the familiar voices of popular Disney and Disney/Pixar characters to mobile phones in the U.S. Disney Mobile voice ring tones are currently slated to launch in the U.S. by the end of the year, and will be available to PCS Vision customers.
Initially, the character voices will include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Stitch, Pooh and Tigger. There will be several messages available from each of the characters. For example, one of Mickey's rings will tell customers to "Answer your phone," and another Mickey message will tell customers that "You got a message." One Goofy ring tone will say "Hello? Is anybody there?" and a message alert will tell customers, "Oh boy, you got some mail!" The ring tones can be set for calls, voicemail alerts and alarms.
Individual ring tones or messages are slated to cost $2.50 each for PCS Vision customers.
"We are always looking to extend the Disney magic in the wireless medium and our characters are the heart of that magic. With the technology and market ready for voice ring tones, this is a natural for us," said Larry Shapiro, executive vice president, business development and operations for The Walt Disney Internet Group, which distributes wireless content for the brands of The Walt Disney Company.
EDIT: I FOUND IT - use your phone and select downloads, than ring tones, than voices. Theres lots to choose from Mickey, Buzz Light year, etc.

USCellular offers downloaded ringtones through their website to their customers. .95 each. I am unable to register to view titles, as it appears when they screwed our account up (we have 75 lines) a couple of months ago and switched everything back, they removed our text messaging!!!! So I can't get a password to check them out.

I could only find 3 Disney ringtones for Nextel (didn't have much time to search) and they were: When you wish upon a Star, Someday my Prince will come and Heigh Ho. They were $1.99 each and you had to have their cables (there were two different types of cables that they offered) to download from your computer to your phone.

I have a Samsung cell phone and I downloaded those two free ringtones last week. I ran into the same problem in that "It's A Small World" didn't sound right at all! I would have been very angry if I had paid $1.99 for that ringtone.
When you play the sample ringtone on the computer, it sounds fine. However, once they send it to your phone, it appears to be corrupted. All in all, it reflects poorly on Samsung.

What is Matrix? AT&T is my service and personally, I think the $1.99 charge is a bit much but since I'm a DisAddict, I've been paying it.
