This was our 2nd stay at HRH and unfortunetly a lot more expensive stay as we didn't book this hotel until 8 weeks before we went....oh well, didn't let that bother me.
Some of my thoughts:
1. Our standard room was huge.....very comfortable even with 5 of us in it.
2. Nice view for a standard
3. FOTL can't be beat!!! Sure gives us more time to relax at the pool!!:smooth:
4. EVERYone at this hotel said "hello" to us, no matter what time of day it was or where we were at this hotel. I really liked this.
5. Coffee and donuts are expensive in the morning but we expected this.
6. Check in was a breeze and check out was even easier!
Any questions???:D
Sounds like you had a good time!

We'll be staying at HRH for 14 nights soon in a standard room for 4 of us, had thought about upgrading to a deluxe if it has 2 queens but not sure.
A few Q's
Can we hire a fridge for the room?
Is it true if you keep your coffee cup you get free refills?
Has room got coffee making facilities? Need coffee!!(LOL)
Any suggestions for breakfast?
Got two teens, any special tips for them?
Many thanks, cant wait!

Are you sure you had a Standard room and weren't upgraded? No way would I ever consider a Standard room with two queen beds "huge" ...

I'm pretty sure our room was a standard. Of course we all have different size expectations so maybe my "huge" would be not so big to you!:teeth:
We had just come from the Dolphin and tho a wonderful resort their room was a lot smaller than the HRH, especially when we added a rollaway. My boys noticed the room being larger before I did!
Expatscot.....to answer some of your questions:
I would think you could rent a fridge but not sure on that one.
I didn't notice any refillable coffee mugs at HRH, however, I wasn't really looking. There are refillable mugs over in the parks, tho.
Yes, there is coffee in the room!!::yes::
There's a little coffee shop down near the pool where we bought bagels every morning. They have other things to choose from, too. There's also a restaurant called The Kitchen next door but we didn't eat there.
What we liked about traveling with teens and staying at HRH, was we could send them over to the parks while we lounged by the pool. My boys are 15,17 and 24.:D
Deluxe and standard rooms have two queens. The difference would be that the deluxe also has a pull-out couch where the standard only has a chair.

Thanks Kitty,
I'm also looking forward to our two going off on their own for a while (and so are they!!). Did you take in anything at Hard Rock Live? My up and coming rockstar son would love that!

Quiet Riot played right at the hotel. It cost $30 per person to see them so we didn't actually go but we saw them setting up all day and heard them in the evening. The boys thought that was SO cool!!:smooth:
