Fanny Pack Harness to tie kids to parnets?

Where do you find the fanny pack harness to attach the parent to the child? And what is it like? Does it have a fanny pack for the child and one for the parent with a nylon strap attaching them?

I dunno about the fanny pack harnesses but I did purchase a regular harness for my dd from walmart. It has a wide band that goes around her tummy and two narrower bands that go over her shoulders. It then has a long "leash" from the harness to where I hang onto it. I LOVE my harness. It gives my daughter the freedom to run but I also know where she is at all times. Best of luck to you.

I sure wish I could find this site for you right now! I want to say safety4kids or something like that. Anyway, the child's fanny pack is pretty useless, fits nothing more than a piece of paper, IMO. The elastic strap that connects the 2 of you, goes around your wrist. The strap is detachable so, what I did was, use the strap on the Fisher-Price kid's fanny pack. That one even has a water bottle included and some real room for snacks, etc. Sorry about the lack of info re: the site. Good luck!

I was wondering if anyone but one step ahead sells this. The shipping was $5.00. I didnt want to spend that much since i am not sure he will leave it on. Thanks Michelle

Just go to a fabric/craft store and buy a set of 1 inch d-rings. Put them on the pack strap at the back,
then re-attach the buckle. Clip a lightweight dog leash to the d-rings and you are in business.

I prefer a pack that fastens with D-rings instead of a buckle. That's an instant place to clip the strap, and most kids have trouble opening d-ring closures.
