Our last trip I called both 1-800-BEASTAR & 1-80023LOEWS to get rate quotes & got the same quote of $144/night for the RP for our recent June trip. I'm now trying to get a great rate for 11/12 & tried the LOEWS number but am hoping to get lower than the $192 for the HRH for that date. What I'm confused about is this....when you call the BEASTAR #, who exactly are you calling?! I know that the LOEWS number connects you directly to LOEWS, but is the BEASTAR number affiliated with LOEWS at all? Was it just coincidence that I got quoted the same rate from both? Thanks in advance for any help on this!:D

1-800-Beastar is not affiliated with Loews. It is "Universal Vacations". Loews gives them an allotted number of rooms to book. We used them for our trip for next month because the package they gave us was as good a price as we could get by booking everything on our own. They even booked our flights. Less work for us.

If you book through Universal Vacations, your stay won't count as a Loew's "qualified" stay to work toward gold or platinum member status. Other than that, I found the package worked out pretty fairly.

I've found that the rewards aren't everything and if you can save $10 a night its worth taking the discount.
