Where to eat 4 Thanksgiving day??

Where would be a good place to have dinner on Thanksgiving day? We dont care about turkey and fixings, just a good sit down meal for 2 adults 3 kids 9,7,1. Just want to get my ressies in early. thanks:sunny: :sunny: :yo-yo:

I think that Liberty Tree Tavern is a nice place for Thanksgiving dinner. However I am sure it will be crowded there and if you do not care too much about the Thanksgiving atmosphere then a couple of my favorite places are Kona Cafe and California Grill.

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our meal at Cape May last year. They had a really good seafood selection as well as the traditional Thanksgiving meal. They also had mac and cheese and an awesome and I mean awesome dessert selection. It was a buffet. We plan on eating there again for this years dinner also. My ds's are 6&7 and enjoyed the big variety they offered. My mom is a vegetarian and she had a great feast on the seafood.

We'll be there also for T-day. My dh really isn't crazy about turkey and all the fixings, but I am. So, if a menu says 'Thanksgiving Menu' is that it, just turkey etc.? If the menu says 'thanksgiving menu and regular menu items a la carte'....how much of an a la carte offering is there? Cape May sounds pretty good. Any other non-turkey suggestions?

your best bet is to eat at disney we made the mistake of listening to my dad when we went on Thanksgiving day and the only place off site we found open was Bennigan's and let me just say

2 years ago we ate at Artist Point for Thanksgiving and I have been forbidden to make PS this year. No one was very impressed. We still haven't decided on this year. We are stying at the Contemporary so maybe Concourse Steakhouse, quick and casual. It is hard to pick pecause you never really know what the menu will be like for the holiday.

The family voted tonight and it will be Chef Mickeys for Thanksgiving dinner. Now, that should be a different meal!!!

We've been going to WDW for TG for 4 years, Last year we had TG dinner at LTT... The food was fine, but honestly, the crowds were frightening. For us, any ambiance offered by the LTT decor was lost in the see of people at MK. Artist Point is our favorite restaurant, but their TG dinner was average. Actually, the best TG dinner we've had was at the YC/BC Convention Center,where they had set up a massive buffet for the overflow. It was a real feast.

This year I think we'll try Whispering Canyon. We'll be staying at VWL, so after our feast, we can waddle on back to our room without having to push through crowds.

I think we're going to go the unusual route this year. We are planning to hit Animal Kingdom that day, to stay out of MK and the crowds. So I'm going to try to get RFC PSs for the four of us. I think our kids will love it!:)
After all, we have the same kind of menu for Thanksgiving in my family that we do for Christmas.:) We'll get a second chance later on....:)
