New Year at Universal?

Does Universal have anything going on on New Years Eve? Also does anybody know what the Christmas/New Year crowds are like? When do the decorations come down?

We went a few years ago and had a blast. There were several bands, you were given party packages and Doc Brown lit the fireworks night. Xmas decorations were still up. We'll aslo be there this year from 12/28-31, staying at HRH.

The parks are open late, until after the fireworks at midnight...excellent fireworks. City Walk has a ticket only party. Tickets last year were about $100 per person, which includes the free buffet food all night long, and exclusive entry to the clubs. They closed off the top 1/2 of city walk last year...it was excellent. Oh, and you got champagne at midnight and party favors. The food was wonderful and plentiful...in every club and outside in the street. We are planning on going again this year because we had so much fun last year.
