20% coupons for DS in Happy Meals

Starting this week you will receive a 20% off coupon for the Disney Store in McDonald Happy Meals. I believe it begins on July 12 (through Aug. 9). The coupons can be redemed at the Disney Store, Disney On-line, Disney Catalog and Disney Catalog Outlet Stores. Not sure if it's for the entire purchase or an item. The coupons are good until 30 Sep.

I'm sure we'll find out all the rules and exclusions in the fine print on the coupons on Thursday. If I was to guess I would assume that the coupons will be similar to those handed out at the DS this past fall for future purchases.

Both my husband and I are vegetarians and so are our 3year old son and daughter------ but we will make our first family trip to McDonald's for these coupons! We will get meatless Happy Meals and be very happy about it indeed!

Someone emailed me earlier today with all the info off these coupons (her local McDonalds jumped the gun and started giving them out too early).

The McDonald's coupons cannot be used on park passes, Disney Dollars, gift certificates, limited edition artwork, shipping and handling, etc.

There is a code on the coupons that I will be adding to MouseSavers on Thursday, that can be used at the Disney Store online. I tried to use it today and it's not active yet, which is why I'm not posting it here.

My McDonalds gave them out early. We got some yesterday. Cute Pooh "book" notepad that my children have already clipped onto backpacks! Anyway, The coupon says 20% off at the Disney Store. Would this not be valid at Downtown Disney?

I live in the Nashville area, and we don't have a lot of Disney Stores at all, but the coupon
and the Pooh notebook pad are in the Happy Meal! I got mine at the West End McDonalds.

The coupons are inside the happy meal plastic toy bag! Make sure you check there and don't let the kids toss! We all had them in ours!:cool:

WonderlandMom, World of Disney is not a "Disney Store". Disney Stores are a separate entity from Walt Disney World and World of Disney is not part of the Disney Store Entity.

I had DH stop at McDonalds on his way home from work yesterday and get the coupons. Poor guy. He went into the store and asked about the coupon and the first person said nope we don't have any. Then he was about to leave an another employee came over and said you must be looking for the Disney coupons. YES he said. She gave him 3 tigger pens and the coupons were in the wrapper. They rang up for $1 a piece. Didn't even have to buy the happy meal. This may work good for some of you who don't like McDonalds food. Just thought you might like to know!!

Hi it's me again. Last night when we got happy meals it had the tigger pen, which is toy #2 I think. Well it does not come with a coupon. Today we tried a different McDonalds by the Galleria and they had the pooh notepad which did have the coupon in it. Yeah:p !!!

Disney Dollars are the same as cash, so I doubt they will discount it. But I don't know this for sure.

Just back from the local Disney store. Our local store was only having 50%off. Everything pretty picked through. I was able to get different character t-shirts(kids) for 5.99. Not bad when you add in the 20%off too. I have a few more coupons, so I'll wait a couple of weeks and go back and try again.

Are you sure that your tigger pen didn't come with a coupon? My DH got 3 of them last night and they were all inside the wrapper. DD and I had happy meals for lunch today at a different McDonalds and we got the pooh notebooks and they also had the coupons in them. That's strange that your pens didn't come with any. Did they look like they were tampered with at all? Hope you have some luck in getting the coupons.

Hi, yes I'm sure my tigger pins didn't come with any coupons. I looked in the wrapper two or three times because I was so disappointed. After we got the ones with the pooh notebooks and found coupons in those I went back and looked at one of the tigger pins again because my DD had not opened hers. But I not going to complain we got four happy meals and four coupons yesterday. I just won't go back to the first McDonalds again.

No, they can not be used on disney dollars. On the back it lists several item that cannot be discounted.

It can be used at the Disney Store, online, and the catalog. I'm wondering if you can use your Disney Club discount plus this coupon. I would think the answer is yes, but not sure. Anyone else know for sure?

linden's mom-- We did go to McDonald's last Thursday and all four of us ordered Happy Meals with out meat or cheese( we are Vegans). Instead they filled the bun with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions. For my 3 year olds they substituted a fruit salad type cup for the french fries. My husband and I ate our fries and loved them! The children's meals also came with milk as an option, but we drink soy and had brought our own. It really wasn't bad... can't say I would repeat the experience without the incentive of coupons though.

Has anyone in Minnesota gotten these coupons? I have gotten a total of 6 toys, Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore and Piglet, and not one of them has had a coupon in them. How do you use them online, do they have an individual use code or a general code?

OK I went to MCD today and ordered a "vegetarian happy meal" what dat? is the response I got. So I said just give me a hamburger Happy meal with no meat. I got a bun, fries and a orange drink. for $3.99!!!!!!!!!!

Won't do that again. BUT I have big news. I found out today that you can buy the toy for $1 without buying any food.
