We will be with you, also. We were on the May 23, 2004 Wonder and loved it so much that we booked while onboard! We have 4 DC and they know nothing about this.;) I cannot wait to see their faces when we tell them. Our plan is to get in the van and drive and let them see where we end up. I am not sure I can hold out that long!:hyper:

What a fun surprise, Carol! We did a surprise trip like that to WDW in Oct. 2002. The kids were thrilled when we picked them up early from school and headed to the airport. I don't think any of us will ever forget it. :D

Are you guys staying at WDW for Christmas, or heading home? We'll be spending our first Christmas ever at WDW after the cruise.

 We'll be sailing with y'all!!

We just got off the Magic on Saturday and while on board we booked for 12/17/05. The kids are very excited. This was the first cruise for our DD (10) and DS (8). As soon as we got home they made me update our coutdown clock. :bounce:

06-23-2004, 06:42 PM
Hi pittcrew! :wave2: How neat that they were so excited to update the countdown timer. :D

Did you do the eastern or western this past trip? We've not even started looking into excursions yet, but I'm sure we'll start checking them out soon.

Did your kids love the clubs? What were their favorite activities? I think my kids will love them. The two oldest are the same ages as yours, only sexes reversed. By the time of the cruise they'll be DS (11), DD (9), DD (4).

Carol36
06-23-2004, 08:13 PM
I haven't even thought about excursions, yet!
By the time we cruise, my 4 DC will be: DS17, DS15, DS12, and DD10. My two youngest liked the kids clubs pretty good. I really thought my DD would have loved them. They did love making flubber and going on scavenger hunts.
We are hoping that my 2 DB's and their families, my DS and her family, and my Mom will be going, also. There will hopefully be nineteen of us. The ages of the children range from 7 to 18.
On the May 23rd Wonder, there were 11 of us.(my family of 6 and my sister's family of 5) We really did have a blast!
We went to 2 DIS meets; one the evening before the cruise at Grill's and the other at the Promenade Lounge at 3:00 on the day of embarkation. I enjoyed the one the evening before more than the one on the day of because there is so much to do and see after getting on the ship.

We have done the Eastern itinerary both times. (June 2004 cruise with the kids and July 2002 with two other couples. ) Looking forward to doing new excursions - and of course the kids are exctied about going to Margaritaville. (We are big Buffett fans!!) :teeth: On our latest cruise we made sure to stop by Last Mango in Paradise in St. Maarten.

The kids really enjoyed the clubs. My DS seemed to prefer the "free" time in the lab, and my DD preferred the organized activities (scavenger hunts, flubber, making a mousepad, etc. ). Since my DD just turned 10 at the end of April and is petite, she was able to be in the 8-9 yr. old group with her brother. Next time, though, they will be in different groups. But, after seeing how they were so independent of each other this time I'm not worried.

Hi, were going to. I have a dd who will be 17, and two ds's who will be 15. Looks like there will be some of the same age's going. they do not no yet it is going to be a big suprise. We will maybe do Disney after. Not sure yet. Can't wait.

We are not planning on doing WDW after the cruise because we have other family that we will have to make time for since we are arriving back home on CHRISTMAS EVE. If we do decide to go, it will have to be a few days before we cruise. I try not to think about the cruise too much because I get a little anxious for the time to fly. I sure hate to wish time away because my DC are already growing up too fast!!!

Have a great weekend!:sunny:

It's my and husband and I and our 3 kids (dd6, ds11, and ds12).

Hey TNMom! We are just up the interstate in Bowling Green. My dh grew up in Hendersonville.

Hi everyone, we are going too. We did the 4 day wonder this past 5/2/04 and we loved it. we originally booked for 4/16/2005 on board but we just changed it. Look forward to getting to know everyone over the next year.

We are going with our ds who will be 7, and ds and dd who will be 4 and my father.

You aren't too far away at all, goofyshell. My best friend in college was from Hendersonville. I've spent quite a bit of time with her out on Old Hickory Lake up there. Beautiful place! :D

Hopefully we'll be there. I can't book until January tho. So it will depend on if there is availability in our category. We plan to use Vacation Club points. It will be me, DH, DD 14, DS 17. It will be our 3rd cruise.

Hey! We just added two more to our travelling party! My parents are going with us. I am so excited! My mom is not in great health and we've never been able to take a trip with them (we travel alot with my in-laws). I think this will be so much fun for the kids and my parents.
Anyone else worried that it might be cold in the water in December? What seating time are you all on?

November 20-27 was great weather. I can't imagine that adding 17 days will make it colder. AT LEAST I HOPE IT WON'T. I have to wait 3 months before I book our reservation using vacation club points I hope all the good rooms aren't gone.

We had to sadly cancel our cruise for March 2005. But we transferred to the Dec 17, 2005 cruise. This will also be our first cruise.
There will be my DH and myself, plus DS - 16 and DS - 13.
We booked two catagory 9 cabin's. (Hope to invite family members to join us).
Also have 1st dinner seating (may change to late, but will decide that later).

We have early seating but we also have young children. What is everyone doing after the cruise? Is anyone staying the week after? Any suggestions for elsewhere in Florida? We know that its just so busy in the parks that week.

BTW, we just got back yesterday from a week at the parks and its was great and hot.

Just booked it this morning after much pondering. Had initially booked the Caribbean Princess for week of Xmas 2005 but decided we wanted the Disney Western since our son will be 12 and Disney won't be quite as appealing as he gets older. Also, wasn't sure if Princess would be as much fun for him.

We are headed out on the 3 day Wonder this Dec 16 and no sooner do we get off that ship then we hop on the RCCL Sovereign. Would have done the 4 day but rates were high and my 25 year old single son is joining us on that journey (he didn't think Disney would be as much fun).

We will opt for 1st seating - just had 2nd seating on our Voyager of the Seas this summer and found it was just too late for us - my now 10 year old son opted to stay in the kids club instead as that's when all the activities were happening.

See you all in Dec 2005 and may we all pray for smooth sailing in our lives until that time :-)

:wave2: Hey, we're on two pages now! :teeth:

We have two connecting cat. 9 staterooms also. We're scheduled for early dining and have requested A,P,L rotation.

We're planning on checking into the Boardwalk Villas when we get back on 12-24. I know the parks are going to be mobbed, but we'll try to get there early and get out before it gets too bad. We're mostly just looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere, and enjoying being together. :D Can't believe I'm using an entire years worth of points for just 4-5 nights. :earseek:

Looking forward to doing some cruise planning and dreaming with you guys. :D

We'll be on the December 17 2005 Disney Magic cruise too.

3rd cruise on the Disney Magic. The other two were spring 2002 (Eastern) and spring 2004 (Western). Looking forward to the Christmas decor on the ship and in the ports.

Family of 4. Daughters will be 14 and 16. Late seating.

I'm amazed how large this thread already is, considering that there are still 461 days until sailing.

Hey everyone! Just checking in to say this is too long to wait!!!
I was sure I would find others here who feel my pain, so how do you keep yourselves from going nuts?
Also, anyone know anything about the stingray excursion on Grand Cayman? I keep reading on the boards that it is awesome and I also read that Capt.Marvins is awesome. Does Disney use Capt.Marvins? I think we will definately do this one. Just wondered what anyone else knew about it.

I've figured out only one way to handle the long wait - several cruises prior to this one and one of them the 3 day Wonder. This fix can get costly but what can I say - there's nothing like a cruise to forget your cares.

I just got the list of possible excursions today from my TA and though I glanced at them, decided I wasn't going to make any decisions for awhile. I was hoping there would be a scuba dive for people who don't have a certification - my son will have just turned 12 prior to this cruise and would love that. Maybe I'll do some checking around to see what I can find. I know I want to get in some beach time, and plenty of it. I live in Washington State and need several sun fixes during the winter months as it's cloudy and grey here most of the winter. Not to mention very short days with sunrise (when it is sunny) not until after 8am or so and then it sets by 4.

Hi all,

We are on the Magic as well. We are also a family of 4 with a 8 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. We have the early seating.

We will definitely be doing Captain Marvin's stingray excusion. I wonder if it fills up quickly? I think it is quite a bit cheaper than the ship's excursion and better (less people).

We just booked and already our category is up another $100 from what we paid. I wonder how much they will be selling for next year?

Hello everyone!!! I just booked a SPH on this cruise. That actually made up my mind for us as far as when we are cruising in 2005. LOL! We have early seating too. This definantly works best for us with the kids. This time will work well with the kids not missing much in school before the holiday and the stateroom speaks for itself! :) There will be myself & DH, DS (7 when we cruise) & DD (5 when we cruise). Right now we are focused on our 12/4/04 Western which will help alot with our planning for this cruise. I can't add it to my sig yet because DH doesn't know about it. I mentioned that the SPH was available when checking out cruise prices that we might book when onboard for 2005 and found it. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: What is the difference if I reserve it now or get a regular cat 10 in 2 months, right? :) Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the next year plus!

:wave2: Hi everyone! More and more are joining this cruise - that is great. It seems so far away though. However it is getting closer and closer.
lbgraves - congratulations on getting a SPR. We gave up a SPR on our original cruise that we had to cancel and transfer to this date. But we compromised with adjoining cat 9's to give us more room and still get portholes. Went from 1 room to 2. We are wait listed for connecting Cat 9's.
We are still debating the early vs late dining. I would like late, but there are activities in the teen navigator that my two DS's are interested in at 8:15 (The teen time to work out in the fitness area). So as the time gets closer I'm sure things may change in the navigators (?) who knows. I've heard it is easier to change from early to late so we hopefully will be able to change to late if that is what we decide.

Hi Lisa,

We were fine during the storms. Further up in the mountains, especially Asheville, had a lot of flooding and washed out roads. We had a few heavy downpours but it didn't accumulate to much.

There is a great thread on CC on the boards. I am going to post it here so we have it next December.

Once we get back from our 12/4 I would be happy to update the website that I used for that group with information from the 12/17/05 group. The kids love to see pictures of the friends that they will be seeing on the ship and it helps me to learn names with faces.

A website for our cruise with pictures. What a great idea. We went on a Mariner cruise and I chatted with a lot of other cruisers for months before and when we got on the ship we had a absolutely wonderful time. So did the kids. In fact, next month we are going on the Splendour with one of the families we met on the Mariner.

This will be great. Just tell us where and when.

It actually helped us to meet a family over the summer for our upcoming cruise. After I entered their info I sent them the site & he emailed back immediately after seeing where we live. It turns out that they have vacationed 40 minutes from here every summer for the past 16 years! Their next trip was 2 weeks away so we made plans to spend the afternoon together & the kids had a blast. Now both of our 4 yo DDs are excited about going to the club with their new friend. :) Things will probably be crazy here after we return 12/13 but by Christmas I should be able to have time to wipe out that data to switch it over to this cruise. It is nice to already have another one lined up this time. Maybe it will make leaving the ship easier?

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone had a Happy Thankgiving! We did. I am enjoying the time off work. Also fought the crowds and did some Christmas shopping on Friday.
Has anyone thought about doing the MVMCP before the cruise next year? This year the last party is offered Friday night Dec 17 - if next year's schedule is the same this will be the Fri night before our cruise. We have never been to WDW and won't have much time before or after the cruise to do much. Original plans were to fly in Friday and drive on to the coast, but after reading about the MVMCP thought this might also be an option.
It's getting closer to our turn to cruise each day!

Hey all! We just booked the Dec 17th Western sailing of the Magic while on the Magic the week before Thanksgiving. It will be myself, my DH, my 2 boys - 13 and 11 (at the time of sailing), my Mom and Dad, sister and her boyfriend, other sister and her husband, AND 2 aunts with 2 uncles........(big deep breath.......) WHEW!!! ... And anyone else we can convince to come along! We were originally booked for the land/sea, but after spending 7 glorious days, we were convinced that 4 days will just NOT do it! So, the research has begun on Western ports and excursions - any input here would be GREATLY appreciated! Welcome cantsitstill,

How was your cruise? Did you get a good deal booking onboard? What category did you book?

We booked category 9 a few months ago and they really seem to be disappearing quickly, many people have booked in the last month. I assume in the new year there won't be many cabins left.

We are going to get together a web site for this cruise so we can get to know each other. Should be fun! :cool1:

Thanks princessmomma and YES our cruise was absolutely wonderful. The seas were pretty rough compared to our July 2003 cruise, but with Bonine, I had no problem. We booked 2 cat. 11's (cheaper than a cat. 7) and got a 10% discount and $200 per stateroom credit. Everyone in our party got cat. 11's except for my one sister (they got a cat. 9), so we're all on deck 6 forward - sis and DH are on deck 5 forward. Looking forward to the meet website! We did that one this past cruise and it was great to have all the pics and then pick everyone out so easily in the terminal.......

I remember our last cruise, we met some really wonderful people online and had a great time on the ship. Hello everyone!!! Just got home from the 12/4/04 cruise & am already excited about going on this one. I can set up the thread in my bookmarks now too since I told DH about our booking. LOL!! Daniel was great about adjusting our reservation on the ship last week & now I will be shopping for a great TA deal. Our tablemates & now good friends from the board booked for this week too & we are already linked for dinner. The kids had an amazing time together.

As for the Western last week, the ship was great. The ports need some work. By next year it should be much better. GC was of course working on repairing itself from the hurricanes. Cozumel is doing ALOT of road construction along the main road by the water. The lane by the water was blocked off & being dug up for over 10 blocks so we had to make our way along the sidewalk in front of the stores. It was very narrow, had many venders calling you into the stores, and was also being torn up in spots. Not at all easy to get along with a stroller so we were glad that DS had stayed on the ship in the club & we only had DD in the umbrella one. It was nice to stay in Key West later than they had been, though I missed the sunset party while taking the kids to see the characters for pictures.

I will start changing the website during the week inbetween loads of laundry & trying to get things finished up for Christmas this year. I am really excited about being on the ship again for the holidays!!!

We didn't do the MVMCP this time since I knew that we would be on this sailing next year. Since DH's bday is 12/25 I would like us to go to MK that day & see all of the parades & fireworks then. The tickets were 38 for adults & 28 for kids I think...or close to that. IDK if we will keep to this though since I will do some research about the parks that week. I really want to limit the number of days that the kids are out of school though. They will be in Kindergarten & first grade but chose this cruise because they would already be out of school a couple days this week.

Honestly, knowing that we already had a cruise booked did make it easier to get off the ship Saturday morning. I have lots of pictures of the decorations that turned out much better than last year's with our new camera & will post some soon.

Colleen, we met the family on the DIS thread for the cruise. They sent me their info & picture and when I added it to the website & sent them the link I got a big surprise. They live in OH but vacation here in NC about 40 minutes away from us. They have done that for the last 10 years plus. Their trip was two weeks later so I drove down with the kids & they played together all afternoon. It was nice for them to already know someone on the ship & it was probably the only way either of our DDs agreed to go to the club at all.

I have in the past for privacy concerns since it has more information about our locations & family pictures. That is why I have only sent the link to the people who have sent me their information. LMK if you would like to keep it that way or just have it open.

I have to change them before putting them on the website anyway. Thanks to everyone who has sent info so far. It is fun seeing the group grow so early.

Also read on the live magic thread that the diz group had an ornament exchange. This sounds like it could be a fun thing to do as a group.

I agree with that idea!!! We also brought Santa hats with us & took a couple pictures with them, but not like I planned. I wanted to get a picture of us in front of the huge tree dressed up but that didn't happen. If we wanted to get a group shot done in front of Lumiere's in the atrium with Santa hats, that would probably look cute. Get those hats after Christmas when things get marked down! LOL! That's when I buy every thing.

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. My family and I just got back from our Splendour of the Seas cruise. We had a great time. Now I really want to get on the Magic!

I can't believe how the prices have jumped for this cruise. There must be a lot of people booking while on board this week for next year.

There are only guarantee left in a lot of categories.

Happy New Year!

Both kids were sick on the Splendour, needed to get antibiotics for one ear infection and one nasal infection. They did remarkably well considering.

Goofyshell: We are from BG, KY and we have a (then) DD4 and DD8. I think we just miss your kiddos' ages. Its so weird that 2 of us on this cruise from BG.

I did email cruisequick and he said he couldn't better the price for us. Our rate has gone up $400 since we booked, (which was actually in August, I can't believe I booked this last August, seems like yesterday!) now I know why he couldn't match it, the cabins are selling like wildfire.

Land and Sea,

These are secret porthole rooms, oceanview rooms (cat 9)at a inside price (cat 10):

One of the best-kept secrets on the Disney Wonder are the "secret porthole" rooms. These six rooms on Deck 5 are sold as Category 10 inside staterooms, but they have obstructed view portholes. Thus, you get sunlight and little view for "free." These rooms can be specifically requested, but book them as far in advance as possible because they go quickly. They are #5520, #5522, #5524, #5020, #5022, #5024 ( 5522 & 5524 and 5022 & 5024 are adjoiners).

Thats right. I read about these rooms before on here. Just forgot and couldn't figure out what that stood for. I'm sure they are all gone. But it is possible to get one if you contact inventory control and get on a waiting list. Were doing a cat. 4. It was the best avalible when I booked this through Dreams Unlimited. Booked on 12/31/04 and got the $200 credit before it expired. The price quoted on the Disney Magic with the 10% savings was more than D.U.. I got several quotes while on board and it seems its starting to get a little pricey. This will be our 5th Disney cruise.

Thanks for the welcome princessmomma. We are glad we learned of

Our boys don't know about our christmas cruise yet,as a matter of fact they
think they're comeing home on 1/22/05 after we get off the ship but,we
booked a few days at port orleans french quarter. I can't believe we managed
to keep the secret for over a year!
You asked why snow birds, it was spur of the moment, so we just "winged" it!
But seriously up here in the NE if you looked out he window, you'd understand why we thought snow birds.

This cruise date works out perfect for our kids school schedules! This year we would have had to take them out a whole week if we did the cruise the week before christmas.

I see some are thinking of doing the MVMCP prior to the cruise. Were in for that! The last one of the year usualy sells out, so buy tickets early. :smooth:

We are planning to go to MK on Christmas Day so that we don't have to buy the extra tickets. Is that insane? DH's birthday is 12/25 so I would like to have him celebrate in a special way this year. It also looks like they do the parades & fireworks a couple times each day the week after Christmas. Would that be much better crowdwise?

Lisa,

Do you already have AP's? What do you mean by extra ticket?

We are thinking about doing MVMCP too! We did it one year. It was great because even though it states the party begins at 7 p.m. (I think) we actually were let in at 4:00 p.m. You only need the special ticket to get into MK. We don't have AP's. Should be a nice way to kick off the vacation.

Cute! The reason why I asked was to find out if you were a snowbird to escapes to Florida for the winter. I know quite a few from my hometown in Canada that did this.

Oh, Lisa, forgot to mention that we are originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Basically, it is a prairie province north of Montana and North Dakota. Really nowhere near Nova Scotia. But you are right, it is beautiful up in the maritime provinces.

Colleen, I am talking about the tickets you need to buy to get into the park after 6 pm. That would have cost us another 150 this past trip so we opted to skip it. We definitely are NOT APs. We usually get a one day pass for MK when we go before the cruise but are thinking of driving down on Thursday & Friday so we wouldn't miss anymore school for the kids so we would miss that Thursday at MK.

Welcome to all the new cruisers! Glad this cruise is growing.
Was checking the DCL site tonight and there are no longer any cat 9's available. How am I suppose to tell how much my cat 9 has gone up? I guess I will add ~ half the difference from a cat 10 & 8. Will this work? Hopefully this means some of the cat 9's might be upgraded (wishful thinking). However I am very happy with our cat 9. Cat 12 would be ok as long as I was on the Magic! :sunny:

Yes, Princessmomma, very glad we booked when we did. I think that's what pushed me to do it on 1/2/05. Disney had no Cat. 9 that day and Cruisequick.com was down to guarantees only, so I did it! (I'm quietley hoping for that suprise upgrade) But will be glad with a cat. 9, after all, that is what I'm paying for. We are so excited! I actually cancelled our previously planned trip to WDW for April, just couldn't afford both. And we were there 3 times in 2004. I just couldn't get excited about that trip since we booked this one.

We're thinking of taking the kids out of school 1 or 2 days early and going to MVMCP if they have it on Friday, December 16th. That is my oldest DDs birthday and I thought that would be a treat for her (and me! ). Well, better get back to work. Renae

That is amazing isn't it! But if you compare it to the next week or Easter week, it is about half the cost. Most of us will only have to take our kids out of school for a few days.

I bet a lot of people from the 10 day 2004 cruise booked again for this cruise or 2005 Christmas cruise.

They do say that this is the heaviest booking time for hot weather vacations and cruises.

Glad we all have ours booked!

momx2,
I agree! We were on the 10 day cruise meet thread and it had over 24,000 post prior to sailing. We should get a list of all that have posted. In regards to the MVMCP prior to the sailing, one idea is to hit the gift shop after riding pirates of the carribean and getting pirate novelties to wear on pirate night. Our kids loved getting dressed up as little pirates ARRG.

Thats a very good idea! I heard there is a great pirate store in Key West. Seaulater from the 10 day raided it along with making her own costumes! Colleen[/QUOTE]

About 10 to 15% dressed up. Mostly informed DISers :earboy2: There were some elaborate pirate: 's at dinner and deck party. At dinner they gave out bandannas and souveniers menus. At the deck party, fantastic show with several surprises. I won't spoil it. But, the fire works were great! When we pulled into St Lucia, the best part was when a real pirate ship (the one from pirates of the carribean) pulled up port side and fired on us. My DD(7) could not understand why they were "shooting bombs and waving at us at the same time" LOL

lbgraves

It was about the same on our 12/4 cruise...the 2nd with the fireworks in the show. :) I had already bought our Mickey tropical outfits so we wore those and the kids wore some black felt pirate hats that we had in their dress up box. Our friends let DS use an extra eye patch they had & he had fun with that. Of course, no matter what you decide to wear that night, you need to get the kids the glow bracelets! We just had the sticks last year but I picked up a couple packs of the bracelets in the dolllar store for this past cruise. The kids loved them & it was MUCH cheaper than buying what the ship was selling at the party. :)

OK, this is sooo typical of my Disney planning. We were all set to do a cat. 12. I kept telling myself we could do it. Next thing you know, we upgraded to a cat. 5. Of course there were lots of reasons. We "need" the space. We will use the verandah. Bottom line is, I do this with every trip. We start out with a limited amount of days, and by the end of the planning, I have added at least one but usually two more days. I think its just a sickness. Right now we are booked at Ron Jon's the night before. All the talk of MVMCP has me thinking of Disney  so we'll see how long the Ron Jon's stay lasts.

momx2
01-06-2005, 09:34 AM
Fireworks! I didn't know about those. Are they on every 7 night cruise? How cool! :cool1: I don't know how dressed up (like a pirate) I'll be, but it sounds like a great party. I'm sooooo excited! I really, really hope they do MVMCP on Friday before. I really want to do that. I also really want to stay at the Grand Floridian that Friday night. I can't afford it when we go for a week or longer, but at Christmas it is so beautiful. We were at WDW 2 Decembers ago and loved the Grand Floridian. The 2 story gingerbread house and everything else. We were staying at the Wilderness Lodge and like it at the GF better (no flames please, JMHO!)

Anyway, I am already obessed with this trip. I'm already planning like crazy: Should we bring water or not; should we do excursions or not; should we bring some beer on or not; will my DD (8) get mad when I don't let her sign herself out(I just read that last night on another thread about 8 year olds signing theirselves out. I didn't respond, but there is noway my 8 year old gets to do that). Questions, questions, questions! Planning is more than half the fun! Renae

Guess what. I looked this morning at my Disney Visa account and saw where they had $50 on board credit if you pay for your cruise with your disney visa. I had put my deposit on that and plan putting it all on there (I pay my balance every month). I emailed Cruisequick and they checked and said as long as I put my final payment on it, I get the $50. Not alot, but hey, nothing to sneeze at. Maybe you guys should check to see if you can get this if you have a disney visa.

Ok

Me (Chris), the wife (Ginny)

The kids
Anna - will be 9 and the princess _ Loves all things Disney, keeps pestering me to head back to WDW - loves to swim
Ruth will be 7 and one tough cookie- Huge Peter Pan fan; Have an awesome picture of her with Peter from WDW and the Family Magic tour
Huck - 2 likes to eat

The parents
Larry and Ann - huge cruisers, this is kind of a makeup cruise from December 2003 when Huck's impemending arrival squashed a 40 anniversary cruise. I think a cruise is my dad's favorite vacation by far. Enough variety, good food, and plaenty to do or not to do. they have cruised hawaii, Europe and all over the Caribbean and Mexico.

What do we like to do - Huge movie family, the idea of free movies ever day will freak out my daughters; we think we may never actually see them once they get a whiff of the kids club on board;

big beach people ( me especially). I love to snorkel and can't wait to try out Cozumel and the Caymans.

My wife loves just being with her family and will enjoy the shows.

The younger set loves Disney. 2004 is the first year we have not been in 3 years. I had solo trips to both WDW and Disneyland (work related) as well. So 04 was full of disney withdrawal. I am asked weekly when we are going to WDW.

Once Huck turns 3, look out. [I am staring at my toy monorail and the Contemporary as I type to give you some reference].

My parents actually booked it last week through local travel agent; they are paying for it :jumping4:

Sent my pictures and data along last night but have yet to hear a reply. Sounds like a very busy, fun time ahead.

Anyone else planning to hang around after the cruise for Christmas Eve and Christmas but not head to WDW?

I didn't get on the computer last night but am currently waiting for what must be your picture to download. It is a HUGE file, not web ready so it will probably not complete downloading until I can get back on here after I get back from PS with DD. I'm on dialup so it takes a while for those big ones. We still aren't sure if we are going to the inlaws this weekend so it could be Monday before I get the info on the site.

Welcome to the group!

Welcome Chris,
Wow, thanks for the report on the family. Sounds like you are a fun group. My daughter Lauren will be 6 and is always looking for playmates!! She is my social butterfly.

Welcome Colleen,

I hope your school schedule works out! We have to take the kids out of school for 2 days (the Monday and Tuesday) to take this cruise, but the price was so great, it didn't take my consideration.

Welcome Chris and Colleen!

I was luck about school. Here our last day is Friday, Dec. 16th. But will probably take DD (8) for 1 or 2 days to spend her Birthday on the 16th at WDW. Can't wait!!!!

Chris looks like one of my DDs (8) will be in the club with one of your DD(9). I can't tell you all how excited I am to be going. I haven't been this excited over something in along time. :rockband:

Basically, it says that the dining rotation we want is APLAPLA, so we have formal nights in Lumieres.

I am going to email my TA and have that rotation requested.

Has anyone else already done this??

Thanks for the welcoming! I am getting so excited!

As far as school, I am hoping our last day will be Dec. 16. Then we can fly down that night or afternoon if i can swing it. Unfortunately missing school is not an option as I am a teacher and we are not allowed to take the day off before a holiday. :(

I have an 8 year old daughter too who will be in the kids club! (She'll be 9 when we cruise).

Renae,

You don't find out your rotation until you board, but you can request your TA to put in on your reservation. You booked through cruisequick correct? Just email them and ask them to put it on your reservation and hope for the best!

Maybe if we linked some of our reservations we may have a better chance, at least we will all have the same rotation. What does everyone else think?

princessmomma
01-17-2005, 01:09 PM
Do you prefer the late seating? Or was that all that was left? The majority of us have the early seating. If you have the late seating you can always waitlist for the early. You can call you TA again and request that. Normally, there are a great number of cancellations before final payment so you may get in.

Your chances may be even better if you are linked with those of us who are in the early seating. Not sure, but worth a try! :D

Colleen, when we adjusted our reservation on the ship 12/4 there was only late seating available. It is all that is available on all the late November & December sailings now. :( We are looking at other weeks because our friends may not be able to cruise this week & the more we look into WDW this time of year the less interested we are in fighting the crowds for as much as it will cost us. I will let you guys know before we let go of that SPH though. ;)

Well, I can tell you this, if you have main it is far easier to switch to late. If you have late and want to switch and your close to cruise time, then if gets very hard to do. Main is the more popular. I've always had it and it works out good with children.

OK, I'm "coming out of the closet"...not what you think. Unbeknownst to our children, we are planning on being on this cruise. I've been lurking, and watching all the posts for the last 5 months (since our last cruise). We haven't said anything to the kids just in case something changes...my DD is like me and doesn't cope well with disappointment. At the time of the cruise, DH and I will have DD(11), DS(8), and DD(5). We will have second seating. We are definitely not morning people, and we never eat dinner before 7 at home. We had second seating on our second cruise (their first) in Jan 03, and they handled it beautifully. Gave them time to get a nap after the day's activities if necessary.
As of right now, we will also have my DM with us, and are trying to convince DH's DM and DD to come as well. MIL is a teacher on the crux of retiring. If she can figure a way to swing retiring at the end of this year, they will join us. Unfortunately, if she doesn't, her county goes THROUGH DEC 23 this year. I couldn't believe that when she told me. UGH!
We will probably do the island tours and museums as our excursions...with 5 of us (love my DM, but she's gotta pay her own excursions and tips!) it gets quite pricey to do the other excursions. Will DEFINITELY make the pilgrimage to Margaritaville in Key West!!!!!
My kids are gonna flip when they find out. It's hard to keep it from them b/c we're excited. We probably won't tell them until around the time we have to make our final payment. This IS Christmas in our house. I think we will come home right after the cruise b/c my DS is having a baby in April, and my DM wants to be here for the baby's first Christmas. Can't say I blame her.
Although, we have considered going to WDW for a day or 2 before the cruise. AHHHH, so many wonderful decisions to make!

Here's hoping nothing changes in the next 10 months!!!!!

krhardy - Welcome to the Dec 17 cruise.
Our group is growing and growing. Can't wait for our turn to cruise! We've been debating driving vs flying. I want to fly, but my husband wants to drive - he hates flying. I'm not looking forward to 2 days of driving before and after the cruise, but we always drive on vacations - much cheaper - will be half the cost at least for transportation. The flights are just being released for next Dec on most airlines and of course no bargins yet. If we drive that will just leave more $ for excursions, souviners, etc.
Have a good week.

Hello everyone. Glad to see new members! :wave2: Anyway, we are flying. Only because of Christmas Eve. Must be back at home for Santa to come that evening!

I've been checking airfares today. I wouldn't usually get the tickets this far in advance, but I'm worried due to flying back on Christmas Eve. Anyone else worried about this?

Delta seems to have some good fares right now. I may just go ahead and book the flights and pay for it and I'll have one less thing to worry about. But we can't decide if we want to go 1 or 2 days before. Probably just one day. Fly in on Friday, 16th (my DD's 8th B-day). Maybe do MVMCP that night if they have it. That would be fun. Anyone else have plans yet? Not trying to wish my life away, but time does move slow when you're this excited. :hourglass

We're going! Me (41), DH (49), DS#1 (9 1/2) and DS#2 (8)... ages at time of sailing :) We were supposed to go in March this year but a variety of things have kept us from going, so we rebooked for Dec. 17th (and saved over $3K off our original sailing price plus have a Cat. 4 booked rather than the Cat. 6 we originally were going to have).

This is our celebration for achieving our black belts in taekwondo -- the boys and I earned ours in August 2004 -- we were going in March because of school breaks, but long story short, we had to postpone til winter break this year. Either way, it's gonna be a blast!

Tami,
We live about 45 minutes from Disney too. What an odd coincidense that we both live fairly close to Disney. We live in Poinciana. We have annual passes and go to Disney all the time. One of our sons and his wife work for Disney.
Our house is filled with lots of Disney stuff,That I have collected over the past 5 years. My dining room is set up with stuffed animals around the table having a tropical party, like we had on the ship. I will change it to a Disney Christmas party just before the cruise. We have to eat in the nook area because there is no room in the dining room.
If you go to the Magic Kingdom, be sure and check out the gift shop at The Pirates of the Caribbean. They have lot of great shirts, head banbanas, eye patches etc... to wear at the pirates dinner party on the ship.

Thanks for the heads up about the pirates stuff. I was wondering if we would have one on the ship or not. We are new to Disney cruises, cruises for that matter. We went on the Disney 3 day last Sept. inbetween hurricanes and did not dock at CC. We really did not matter, we just needed a vacation at that time. We had some water damage to our house but nothing too bad. We live in Melbourne, all hurricanes we went to Tampa. This hurricane season we will just stay home unless the kids want to leave. Hopefully this season will not be like last year.

Anyway thanks again for the heads up. Is there a website just for our cruise with everyone on it?

Happy St. Particks Day to everyone,
especially to campcoach and Fonzy, from this thread. They are one of my daughters and grandaughter. We'll be easy to spot at early dining, there are 15 of us, unless someone has to cancel. Anyone else have early dining?
We prefer it over late dining as we are all very hungry by that time after going all day long on the ship. Will be our 6th cruise with Disney.
9 months to go!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait,

Howdy,
You sound like a young adult. I have 4 grandkids coming on the cruise too. The girls are 6 and 14, the boys are 3 and 11. Do you fit into their age group? If so let me know and you can meet through this thread if you like. I know they would love to know someone before they get on board. It will be their second cruise, and they have been to WDW a few times. They will be there again this summer and just before the cruise. They could probably give you a few tips or answer any questions you might have. The 14 year old girl is on this thread, under the name of Fonzy, she hasnt had any replies yet, so feel free to write if you want. I'm going to WDW this weekend, but we go almost every weekend because we live very close. You'll have a great time there, especially at Christmas time, but be prepared for crowds.

OMG, our mail came yesterday and my dd5 pirate costume came in. She tried it on and loved it. It is sooooo cute on her. i will have to take some pics of her in it. Makes the cruise seem more realistic now. before it seemed so far away and now it is slowly creepin up. :earsgirl:

Has anyone been to the pirates party on Disney? When we cruised in Sept last year they did not have it. It seems like alot of fun.

Hugs,

I printed out all the excursions and trying to see what ones we want to do. Any of them better then others. We go to Key West ALL the time so we will not do any there. I would like to do the Stingray's but I am not sure if my younger one would enjoy it. Last cruise we had to beg the kids to leave the ship while we were in Nassau, LOL. My DH would like do to the Shipwreck and Reef Snorkling.

ANyone else have ideas? Can you booked these excursions now or is it best to wait? Last cruise we did no excursions. It was inbetween hurricanes and we had no money left. This year I want to spend, LOL

Howdy John,
Please drop a line to Fonzy, who is back a ways on this page. She will be 14 on the cruise and her brother will be 11 so your brother could make a friend too, if he wants to. Both of my grandkids are very good about meeting new people. They are actively involved in all kinds of stuff. So they are use to interacting with ther kids they dont know. I'm sure you'll get along great. Dont let being shy stop you from writing! If you can't find Fonzy, watch for Campcoach, also back a ways on this thread. She is Fonzy's mom.She is very involved with kids programs. She is a campfire leader, works with the special needs kids at school, does countless hours of volunteer work at the childrens museum where she lives and much more. Both would love to hear from you or anyone from your family. I don't think they know that I'm on the thread now too so you could surprize them by telling them you've met their grandma, my name is Kathy. It's been cold and windy most of last week, but today is sunny and suppose to be 80. This is the longest cold spell we've had here in Florida since we moved here 5 years ago. Fonzy lives in Oregon, so she is use to all the cold. Let me know if you write,

Hello,
Just a note about excursions. Book as early as you can, some of the most popular excursions fill early. We have been on a lot of cruises and done excursions everytime and we call and book about 90 days in advance of the cruise. Our first cruise we didn't know anything and some things were already booked by the time we got the paper in the mail and sent it in, that's why the excursion form has places for more than one choice. We have not been onn the western cruise yet, so I don't know which excursions are best for it.
I'm sure all of them will be fun.
Less than 9 months to go!

I'm happy to hear your going to drop Fonzy a line, I know she will like that.
Since this will be your first cruise, and she has gone before, please dont hesitate to ask her any questions you might have. She has a great story about a famous ex-football player she met on a eco hike on St. Johns Island, and what her grandpa did to them. Ask her to tell you about it, it's funny.
We are suppose to be about 80 again today, but it is cloudy and we may get a shower or two. There is a lot of new things at WDW this year. If you have time before the Christmas party maybe you can check out some of them.

Howdy,
We have been on 5 disney cruises, our 6th will be this december and we are booked already for the last week of november 2006 and the first week of december 2006. That is back to back 7 day cruises. We don't even have to get off the ship between cruises, we just stay on board and keep the same room for both weeks. That will really be fun. I have never been to Cozumel.
But people I've talked to say it's great. I have been to Nassau, castaway cay, St. Thomas, St. John's,St. Martin's and Paradise island, Freeport. That is quite a few. I would love to do the 10 day disney cruise because it goes to ports they do not normally stop at, but those cruises book up right away.
I'm glad you wrote to my grandaughter, she is on spring break this week. They went to the beach but I think she is probably back now. They are very excited too. We are hot and rainy today. I wish the weather would make up it's mind here. At least we are warmer than you are. 39 is way too cold for my old bones!

I'm so glad to hear you have two teens she can write to. Fonzy has been on the eastern cruise so she may be able to answer some questions your boys may have since it's their first cruise. It will be our 6th. And we have 7 day back to backs booked for 2006. So whenever it seems like Dec 17 is so far away I just start the count down to 2006 and this cruise does't seem so far away. I'm even more excited than the first time because I know how much fun I'm going to have. Each time I do different things so it's like a first cruise all over again. The shows are fantastic too. very talented people.
Have you and your family ever been to Disney World? We live 40 minutes from there and have annual passes and go every weekend most of the year. One of my sons and his wife work there too.
great hearing from you.

Howdy,
Are any of you diabetics or have a family member who is?
My husband is a diabetic and we have been in touch with other cruisers and have a couple of ideas to improve the food for us in a couple of areas. I'm asking for help with this. If you think the following improvements would benefit you or a family member or just want to help us diabetics please write or call the cruise lines with the following suggestions.

1. Their sugar free desserts are very good, however they are sweetened with nutra sweet and lots of diabetics have allergies to that sweetener. There are many great ice creams and desserts sweetened with splenda or malititol which are less likely to have an allergic reaction to it. All these people cant experience the wonderful dessets until this is changed.

2. They need to have sugar free ice cream available ar scoops. Think of all the people, especially children who would love to share an ice cream with their families just like everyone else, at this point they are left out again for another magical experience.Watching others around the pool really can be depressing if you can't join in or your child can't.

3,They bring out a big platter of cookies and brownies everyday by the pool, but again, no sugar free products for those who can't have sugar.

All these items don't sound like much to most people, but try and imagine if you or your child was totally left out of these wonderful experiences. All 3 of these could be fixed very easily by the cruise line with very little cost to them. A person can only eat so much fruit for dessert. I do realize they cant meet everyones dietary requirements, and they do try very hard. I give them very high marks, but there is always room for improvement.
I assure anyone who goes to the cruise line site and contacts them or calls the cruise line, they do welcome all suggestions and we have seen many improvements that have come from suggestions. So we can make a difference if we all work together to help each other.
Thankyou and please let me know if you contact the DCL as i'm tryning to get some idea of how many are helping our cause.

Chris,
don't be discouraged, some people are shy and some are gone for spring break. my grandaughter has been gone a lot and is leaving again tomarrow for another overnight trip. The closer the cruise gets the more likely someone will write. The first real response I got was from another teenage boy, jgrant03. I did get a welcome to the thread letter, but mostly it's been you, one from your mom and from jgrant03. So keep trying and sometime you'll get a answer. Florida is getting very warm now, I love the heat, but I don't like the humidity. I did get a new car over the weekend. It's a 2005 impala. Guess you have 2 or 3 years before you will be driving.I needed something with better gas mileage, my first fill up was 35MPG instead of 15 that my old car got, so I'm very happy. We went to Epcot on sunday and we saw a disney cruise line bus headed to the terminal full of happy people. I write down on my calendar every time we see a cruise bus and add it up at the end of the year. It makes the cruise sseems closer. In the back window the :hourglass re is a sillouette of Mickey, Donald, Goofy having a party, which really makes me want to go now!!!! Hope you have a great weekend.

Hello,
I just saw your ice cream question.
scoops has all soft serve, vanilla and vanilla and chocolate swirl only. They have lots of different candies and sprinkles to go on the ice cream. It comes in a cone or a bowl. At the restaurants at dinner you get hard ice cream. They have vanilla every night and then a special tropical flavor that changes every night. On the kids menu they have the Mickey Bar that you can get at WDW. But anyone can get it, not just kids. You can even have 2 or3 or 4 of them. They will keep bringing them as long as you keep eating them. The restaurants also have sugar free vanilla with chocolate swirl upon request.

Hi All! Getting closer - just booked our airline. Somehow that always "seals the deal" for me. Now it is real! I am so looking forward to the Western itinerary - especially visiting Grand Cayman. Soon it will be time to start looking at excursions - Captain Marvin's sounds very interesting to me - just need to convince one other person in my familyt o go with me! But, I want to go bad enough that I just may go alone!

Do we have anyone in our group that is keeping track of our group? I don't mind doing a spreadsheet and sharing with everyone, I have done it before on some of our other cruises. Usually jsut add names, ages, city and state, cabin numbers if anyone is interested in sharing that sort of info, whatever anyone wants. Let me know - there is quite a bit of information in this thread but I do need emails since I can't attach anything to a PM or an email generated from the DIS.

Today we headed for Orlando to buy some furniture. We started talking about the cruise and how hard it is to wait. The next thing we knew we were headed for the port. We saw the Wonder in port, and counted 25 cruise line buses carrying happy cruisers to the terminal. I know our ship is the Magic, but somehow it helped to see that the ships are still there waiting for all of us. We tried to figure out how to stow away on board, but no such luck. So we thought about going to Jetty park and waving to the Wonder as she pulled out, but I figured that would be too painful to bear.
So we headed for home, happy to contemplate the near future when we would be on board sailing out to see.
At least for a few days we had our disney cruise fix.
Of course I never got my new furniture. Maybe that's why my husband didn't object to driving to the port. Next weekend, it's furniture stores no matter what!!!
Happy sailing to everyone. Hope you have ways to help pass the time too. :hourglass princess: princess: :wave2:

I like the idea of a DIS meet in the Promenade Lounge but think we should also try and have 2 times - 3:00 can be too early and if you get all caught up with "things" on Saturday or are late arriving to the ship it is nice to have a backup plan. Maybe same time, same place again on Monday??? It really is nice to get to meet everyone - and you will be surprised how many times you bump into each other too.

Here is our information:

Our room numbers are 6068 and 6069.

Sandra and Murray

DD - Cynthia (22 1/2 years old)
DD - Crystal (20 1/2 years old)
DS - Curtis (17 1/2 years old)
DD - Cherilyn (9 1/2 years old)
DD - Catryna (7 1/2 years old)
DD - Caileigh (4 3/4 years old)

These ages are at time of cruise. We are from Canada.

If there is a 9 year old girl interested in talking to Cherilyn, she would love to write to someone.

Getting more excited by the day. We check the web cam at Port Canaveral every Saturday to see the Disney Magic.

Meeting on Saturday and then again maybe on Monday sounds great.

:sunny: This is a great idea. Our info is:

DH - Frank
DW - Kathy
DS - Peter (16)
DS - Chris (13)

We are from Edmond, OK
Cat 9 cabins - 2014 & 2016
We have early dinner seating - (but may change to late)
This will be our first ever cruise

glindamood - Would you be able to have DIZ name and dining time on the spread sheet or will that be to much?

Also like the idea of meeting 2 times. The first on Saturday so we can put a face to the name and hopefully see each other as the cruise goes on. It was suggested earlier in the thread to do an ornament exchange at one of our get togethers. The Christmas cruise last year did this and they reported they had lots of fun. If others are interested in this maybe we can get something organized for our second meeting.

I agree, 2 meeting times would be nice in case someone can't make the first time they have a second chance to still meet.
Although I've never done a cruise meet before. However we did meet people in line, and then we ran into them all over the ship and clubs for the rest of the week. It was so nice to see a familiar face and to hear about some of their experiences on board. Everyone is always anxious to share.
It will be fun to see if some of us meet in line and don't even know it until we meet on board.

This is my first post. I was supposed to sail on May 15, 2004 to celebrate my 40th birthday, but then all of a sudden there was a baby on the way and I was too far along to get on the boat. We rebooked for the Dec 17 to celebrate DS' 13th birthday (actually 12/10). At the time we had to "make up" a birthday for DD since she wasn't born yet. Our TA was among the first on the list to call as soon as DD was born!

Our crew is as follows:
DW Denise
DH Chris
DS Michael 13 (plus 1 week)
DS Aaron 10
DD Aliyah almost 17 months

We're in 2572 and 2573
We're from San Diego, CA

Thank you for doing this!

Welcome aboard!!!
Just thought I let you know that there are some teens on this thread that are doing private posts to get to know each other before the cruise. Since you have a 13 year old, maybe he might want to be involved in it.
They are on this thread already, all he has to do is hit the reply icon and put it to either Fonzy, 14. jgrant03, 15, I think, cutie 13 ,I think. Fonzy is my granddaughter, the other two are boys. Fonzy also has a brother who will be 11 by the cruise time so he might like to get to know your 10 year old. Their mother is also on this thread under the name of campcoach in case you want to contact her. It's so nice for the kids to get to know someone ahead of time. Fony has cruised before and could probably answer any questions your kids might have. Looking forward to meeting everyone in about 8 months!

Hello everyone!

I have created an Excel spreadsheet with all the information from this thread and the PM's that were sent. I can't attach to an email from here so if you would like a copy of the list you need to get me your email address - and also tell me if I can add it to the list. Unless you tell me otherwise, I will add your email.

If there are additions or corrections to the list, let me know. I will create a distribution in my email and just blind copy all of you.

Howdy Drew,
I'm not a teen, I'm a grandma, but I know that on this thread there are at least 3 teens that are looking to chat with other teens. They use the name Fonzy, cutie, and jgrant03. If you hit the reply button and address it to them I'm sure they will contact you. I know they want to use the private message board to chat so we old folks won't know your plans!! Ha Ha.
Fonzy is my grand daughter and she has been trying to get in touch with other teens too. She has done one disney cruise so far. I think the other two are new cruisers. If you go way back on this thread you'll find their posts too.
Good Luck!

Hi Drew!

I have 4DC, including 2 teen boys, one that will be 17 and the other will be 15. They have no idea about this cruise. We aren't going to tell them until the night before. Oh yeah, by the way, my 17 year old's name is Drew, also. Time is drawing close!!! :sunny:

Carol - that is SO cool! I tried to do that to my DH on the cruise last September to celebrate his 50th but I couldn't keep the secret. I would blow up (well, almost literally anyway) if I had to keep a secret like that. Since I talk about it almost daily, I don't know how I would manage. Please share with us how the "unveiling" goes.

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc 8 MORE MONTHS TO THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I went to Walmart travel yesterday to add the REAS to our package (as asurprise for DH) and I asked if she had any cabins left that they were selling and she said as far as she could tell there were only 50 or so cabins left!!

I was so tempted to book the Xmas cruise for 2006, the 10 day one, but you are actually one the ship for xmas. i would enjoy it but I don't think my parents and grandparents would. We are thinking about another cruise the same week but (ducking) on another cruise line. Yikes, I said it. We are not positive but I really hate the take the kids out of school especially if we have another hurricane season like we did last year. the kids had to make up 11 days of school foir hurricane days. We used to live in MD and had snow days, LOL never hurricane days. Xmas is always safe for us.

Anyone else sign up for REAS? Has anyone done the REAS before? I would love to hear about it.

Hugs
Tami

Tami - I have never done the REAS package but have heard good things about it. DH would not enjoy the massage (especially if he knew what I paid for it) so I have never done it. There have been many posts on the general cruise board for people that have enjoyed it.

OK - the list went out this morning to the posters I had emails from. I also got 2 emails back because the addresses were not right so I corrected on the list and in my distribution and sent them out again. If you would like to be included I have added DIS name, real name (if available), ages of children, any special occasion (birhtday, anniversary etc) cabin number, dining time and email address. Any and all suggestions welcome. If you would like a copy of the list send me your info and your email address - if you don't tell me, your email address will be added to the list.

Have a good day all - we are to get into the low 70's today here in Cadillac so spring must be here!

After taking a good look over the spreadsheet we have a lot of people on the cruise from this board. My daughters have been emailing another set of sisters, the same age so they can know each other before the cruise. They will be 6 and 9 when we cruise. My older daughter Brianna begs everyday to be on the cruise now. We all have to get a Disney fix in so we have planned a weekend in May to go to Disney. We will be staying in Coronado Springs Hotel (never been there) and will hopefully go to Mk and Epcot. We shall see.

Well off to read the boards.
Hope everyone has a great day!

I received this catalog in yesterdays mail and look what I found.

http://www.orientaltrading.com/otcweb/application

If the picture of a pin does not show up type in skull pin in the search bar.
We can wear those on Pirate night. They are the pins that light up. My under one saw those and she said,"Mommy those would be so cool, can we buy them?"

Take a peek when you get a chance.

Hugs
Tami

Wow! Looking over the list, it looks like there will be a lot of kids my boys' ages on board. They would love to get to know other kids before we sail. Michael will be 13 (just barely) and Aaron will be 10 1/2 in December. If any of the kids want to e-mail them, they can write to dpb@san.rr.com. My boys will write back.
