Prestige Towncar or Happy Limo or American Luxury???

I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but here goes...

Which towncar service would you all recommend or not recommend?

We used to use Tiffany Towncar, but are a little turned off by their sudden rate hike. Last year it was only $80 roundtrip, now it's $95! :earseek: I have been looking all over for a dependable, but maybe more affordable solution. It's just the 2 of us & we don't care for a grocery stop. We just want to get to our hotel quickly & safely. I've been looking at these 3 companies:

Prestige Towncar - right now the cheapest for us - $85 - $10 coupon for military families = $75 RT

Happy Limo - $80 RT

American Luxury Transportation - $85 - $5 coupon = $80 RT

An extra $10-20 is a big difference to us - we're staying at a value this trip & trying to save $ where we can - any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!! :teeth:

We have only used FL Tours so far and they were great.

Now having said that, we tried to get a quote on a stretch limo and the only one that answered was Happy Limo-so we went with them for our next trip.

Our first visit ever to DW was last year, we booked the whole package deal through DW Travel and used Mears Shuttle. It was OK though this year going back we are going to use Happy Limo, the "base price" was almost the same $80 as Mears (for 2 adults, 1 child) roundtrip to CBR/Airport, so decided to give the Limo a try as we'll get there quicker, have a 15 min grocery stop (stocking up on waterbottles!!!) They cost $2.50 each in the parks and it all adds up quickly!

We made the reservation and it's not $80 roundtrip, it's $54.50 for the arrival and 49.50 for the departure.

Fees added on:
Basic Rate 40.00
Tolls 2.00
Airp. surchare: 5.00
Gratuity 10.00
Discount 2.50

Total: 54.50

Departure:

Basic Rate 40.00
Tolls 2.00
Gratuity 10.00
Discount 2.50

Total: 49.50

Our total is $104

I then thought, great the tip is already included, yeah..they say "you can tip again if you want to?" It's NOT $80, read the bottom of the page (I didn't), all the fees are there to be read.

Now I'm wondering if Tiffany TownCar does the same even being $95.00 to start out with?

We're still keeping our reservation, it might just be all worth it in the end :D

P.S The discount is found mousesavers.com, it's 5 dollars off for a Town Car per roundtrip.

We just used Happy Limo for our last cruise (we've used them many times before, too) and had the usual great service. We didn't use the grocery stop last time, but we have used it several times in the past and it is very convenient.

We have always preferred to use FL Tours for our transportation. Andy is a wonderful guy who will see to it you are taken care of.

FL Tours is the official transportation company of the DIS and by using them we are supporting these boards. I know that I would be lost when it comes to my Disney planning without these boards.

I think it is true that at times you will hear bad about just about any transportation company, I can attest from past experience that FL. Tours will do an excellent job for you!
