I have read somewhere that people have attached their water bottles ( Brita type) to their fanny packs somehow. Does anyone know how this is done. I do not have the type of fanny pack that comes with a water bottle, but plan to use the Brita. Thanks.

REI sells a water bottle holder that slides on to the belt of a fanny pack. We used it, worked great!

What is REI? I would be interested in these. I've been trying to figure out how to carry water bottles.

I bought the wrist/belt water bottle strap from DL and use that. You just snap the strap over the strap of the belt bag.

REI is a mountain sport supply store. I think most sport stores should carry something similar. Just ask someone for a water bottle holder that attached to a belt.
