If you want a really great place, try Mythos at Islands of Adventure. It is terrific!! It is located on the Lost Continent right across from Poseiden's Fury.

KimCon is right. Mythos is the best, but it depends on what type of food you're looking for. Confisco's is also a "sit down" restaurant, but doesn't have a really big menu. There are places throught the parks where you go up to the counter and get your own food and then sit at the tables.

I agree with the other others - try Mythos. You will love it!

For sit down/table service restaurants our favorites are Confisco's and Mythos at IOA. At Universal we like Lombard's Landing and Finnegan's. There are also plenty of restaurants just outside the parks at Citywalk as well as many counter service restaurants within both parks. You shouldn't have any problems whatsover finding something to eat.

We enjoyed Confisco's in POE(IOA) and Mythos.

Have to concur, in IOA Mythos is the best for a full service sit down eatery. Confisco's is ok. If you do not mind picking up your food at a counter and finding your own seat then each area has this type of place. The Enchanted Oak is a must see on the inside up on the ceiling. I think that Thunder Falls Terrace has the best ribs and chicken combo.
At USF there is Finnegans and Lombardis for full service, but Monsters Cafe has a wide assortment of food choices and the old horror film clips playing is great. Sorry no buffets in the parks, i believe there is one in city walk.

You can find a lunch buffet at the Motown Cafe in Citywalk. It cost $10.95 per person. I think the Latin Quarter has a salad bar buffet for $6.95.

Another vote for Mythos. The best!
In USF, you can try Lombard's Landing. Great ambience although the food is somewhat iffy. Best bets (although more expensive) are the fresh seafood entrees.
I also like the San Francisco Foggy dessert -- a fabulous hot fudge browniw sundae -- but then I'm into health food. ;)
