Anyone bought resale ?

Hi everyone

We've been members since 1999 and have Boardwalk as our home resort. We bought an add on at OKW about a year later when Points were available from DVC. We are now considering another add on from The Timeshare store.

Has anyone from the UK done this ? How easy is the process ?

Hi Phil,

We haven't bought through re-sale so can't comment with any experience! However, whilst theoretically I would have no hesitation in going down the re-sale route if I was looking for an add-on, the thing that would most put me off is the payment arrangement. There doesn't seem to be any way of paying by CC.

Hopefully, someone with more experience than me can help you out. :)

Hello we bought our 270 points at OKW from Timeshare store, all done by phone, fax, e-mail, money held in escrow, - they charge quite a bit ? $30 dollars for accepting bank transfer from UK - our bank paid the charges for us for fraction of cost
All very easy (never done anything like it myself before)
Any specific questions ?

We bought 380 in 98 from the timeshare store. It went really smoothly, a bit nerve racking waiting for Disney's ROFR.
