I hoped never to be travelling during school holiday time again but alas, circumstances dictate otherwise :(
I am arranging a family trip next year which includes school aged nephews and my DS's partner who will be teaching by then, so they are tied to set dates - ie fly out on 28th May and back on 4th June, from Manchester.
DS is 6'7" tall and so fitting into economy charter seats is simply impossible. These are my options: paying for emergency exit seats with Britannia (or another charter) where at least those seats are guaranteed, or, going indirect with a carrier such as American Airlines, who have always treated him very well in the past, and who have a more generous seat pitch to start with.
The Britannia option is currently about £600 each for the flights only into Sanford.
Could anyone who flew indirectly this year for the May half-term let me know the approximate cost?
I don't want to miss the Britannia seats if there is not much difference. The scheduled airlines don't release their prices until 10 months out.
Thanks.
