Has anyone heard of the new priceline.com? If so give any info you have. This one allows you to pick and choose exactly what you want, sounds good to me.

I would be interested too. I have nver used priceline. I take it that you just give them a destination and price and then they tell you what you can have. Too much of a "pig in a poke" to me.

It really isn't priceline as you are thinking of it.

Priceline partnered with a reservation service and you can go there and make reservations. I can't see that it is any better then any other on line service (Expeida etc.) but I could be wrong.

They still have the traditional auction however.

I made all my reservations for hotels for my upcoming trip the old fashion(Priceline) way. I went there today to make reservations for a friend and tried the new Priceline. As mentioned before it's done thru a partner. The partner is MORE expensive than most other travel sites that I've tried. Educate yourself before buying anything from them or keep using the "old" ways.

Not really a partner PL is buying travelweb.com and has already bought lowestfare.com. Basically not much different than using expedia or travelocity.
