At last our son, the youngest of our three children, has graduated and we are no longer financially supporting any of them. At a rough guess I'd say it has cost us in the region of £75,000 - £80,000 to put all three through university.
What are we going to do with the extra money now:confused:

Not sure whether congratulations is the right sentiment, but you know what I mean! ;)

We've only just come to the end of the first year of university for DD no.1, so w've a way to go yet, but I don't think I'll have any difficulty in finding a good use for the 'saved' money at the end of it :teeth:

BTW, for any of you out there thinking "We can't possibly afford that kind of outlay for university education", please don't be put off, there are lots of grants and loans available these days. I'm not saying they'd cover everything, but it doesn't have to be quite as daunting as it sounds.

Gill, that is horrendous! (The cost of education and not the fact that they have all finished;) )

I'm sure it wasn't that bad when I was at uni (and before any of you are too rude, that was under a decade ago!!) Mind you I lucked out and got the last 3 years of grants ever offfered as "standard".

Thank what you will do with the extra cash now, though! Every cloud and all that...!!
