kodak easyshare digital camera HELP

ive just got this camera and i can manage to download the pics from the camera to the easyshare collection, but i am unable to work out how to get them from there to another location on the puter such as my documents, or is it only possible to store them in the easyshare bit??

Hi Natalie

We also have a Kodak easycare digital camera and I have quizzed my DH on this one. When you downloaded the easyshare software on to your computer it should have automatically saved a folder with the pictures in it Click on My documents, Click on My pictures and there should be a folder called Kodak that has all your pictures. Hope this helps.

i have managed to download some pics int my existing my pics file but i had to do each one individually........very time consuming and unless i do this they are not stored at all in the kodak my collecton when i go back i just get a box with a x in it

is that usual

HI

Click on the Kodak Software file where your photos are. Click on Tools and go down to preferences. Than press transfer. At the bottom it says "select the location on your computer where you want to transfer your pictures" By clicking on the browse button you can select My pictures (or whatever file you want to save them in) then hit Apply and then OK. This should mean that every picture you put into your computer will automatically go this file.

If this doesn't work, perhaps you should think about saving your pictures so far to disc and then unloading and reloading the Kodak software.
