I've been following airfares from Nashville to MCO for late October. When Delta started running their sale a few weeks back, R/T fare dropped from $197.50 to 174.69; not bad but I decided to wait until Southwest fares came out (my return was 10/28 and SW was only out until 10/26). When SW fares finally came out they weren't offering anything great for my dates (still aren't as of this morning), so I went back to Delta's site to grab the $174 fare. Lo and behold the $174 fare was gone, back up to $193 for connecting, 197 for N/S. This was about a week ago. Ever since then I 've been checking Delta's site along with SW, Travelocity and Expedia twice daily to see if the lower fare would be offered again before Delta's sale ended 7/8. Tried again this morning to no avail; when, just for the heck of it I tried Orbitz. The $174 not only came up, but I was able to get N/S flights at the times I wanted :jester: So, at least for me, Orbitz was really able to get a better fare than anyone else.
