Just found this info. Sorry if it's old news around here. Not sure when this starts or started.

Soda Now Complimentary on Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line is now offering guests complimentary sodas on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder!

Sodas are available at the 24-hour beverage station on Deck 9 Aft and during meal hours at Topsider Buffet/Beach Blanket Buffet. Complimentary sodas will also be available on Castaway Cay at Cookie's Bar-B-Q and the adult-only beach, Serenity Bay.

Sodas will remain complimentary in full-service dining rooms

We just got back from the Magic on Saturday and I can tell you that while sodas at meals are complimentary they are NOT any other time. We purchased a soda card that could be used between meals.

I think it started June 12th

The previous poster is correct. The "free soda program" began on June 12th on the Magic and June 13th on the Wonder.

Yeah, it started the minute we walked off of the Wonder...after spending $60 on soda cards! :(

Just curious what the source of this information is. Is there somewhere online we can verify this?

What "soda's" are offered at the drink station?

the sodas are Coke, Diet Coke & Sprite.

AAA first broke the news to cruisers that booked through them, several people have since verified with DCL (as well as hearing from folks currently on the Magic or Wonder).

4myguys, who is sailing right now reported:

As far as the soda, yes, it is free. It's set up like a fast food restaurant with a separate ice machine. They have Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Lemonade, Cherry Punch and . . . it seems like I'm leaving one out. Oh well, it's Coke product. They have it beside the tea/coffee station.

I am thrilled to hear that pop will be at Topsiders/Beach Blanket Buffet also!

I just got OFF the ship on Saturday. It figures that they would start the program the day I leave. They did start to build something near the beverage station on Thursday. They must have been installing the soda station.
