Thankfully the threat of thunderstorms never materialized, so we were able to enjoy the annual SGT under partly sunny skies! :sunny:

There were fewer gardens to tour this year, and they didn't seem to be quite as spectacular as previous tours, but it was still a pleasant way to spend part of the day. :)

When we arrived home, there was a message waiting for us, telling us that our SGT ticket stub had been drawn for a prize. They didn't say what the prize was, nor have we had a chance to pick it up, but I suspect it's probably a garden centre gift certificate....which would be fine with me! :)

Anyway, enough chitchat, let's get going.....:)

Enter here....a nice garden gate. :)

Lots of perennial geranium featured, and this was a particularly interesting way to camouflage a tree trunk.

More, very healthy looking geranium.

Cute shed set back in the yard.

A cool seat in the shade.

If you were sitting in the above pic (against the tree trunk), and looked to your left, through the trees you find the water, and a sunny sitting spot.

Mary, the garden gate and shed were from one garden, the seat in the shade, and the pond/sunny seating area from another. The tree trunk and geranium pics were from two seperate gardens. :)

Great pics. I like the shed nestled in ivy and the gate. Their geraniums are so healthy.

Deb's last statement about the geraniums reminded me that I have some shots of a gorgeous geranium bed taken at Epcot this past April. Not these type of geraniums but the Pelagonium - the more common usually red flower I thought of as a geranium before I learned better from this forum.

I never saw a red geranium bed before. I just mostly see these types of geraniums in pots and I was so impressed with the Epcot geranium bed.

When I can, I will see if I can post a picture of this bed in Epcot!
