I am checking for best rates for a short trip in October. The daily rate for a compact that I get is $28.97. When I put in the EC coupon for the free day on a 3-day weekend, it gives me a discount of $23.18, not the daily rate of $28.97. Why is that?

I am finding that my best combination of coupons and contracts is the EC 3-day coupon and my Dc contract number. Anyone having better luck with anything else?

Havin a hard time also.

Where do you get the DC contract number. I have a club card but don't know where the number is.

The coupon for National in your booklet lists the contract and coupon number. Coupons usually start with a #1 and contract numbers usually start with a #5 or #6--at least all the ones I have used have been like that. I think some of coupons transposed coupon and contract numbers, but you will get an error code if you enter a wrong number in a wrong spot.

If you have trouble finding, PM me, I just didn't want to post code on the Board. Think there is a rule or something about that.

do a search for national car on here and there is a post that has a link to this sight that gives a nice discount on the car rental that works with the coupon.

In order to use the Buena Vista coupon code on the ressie, do I have to present this coupon at the counter? I have the Entertainment Book coupon, but not sure about this Buena Vista one.

no from what I read there is no coupon for the buena vista discount its just the code you put into the reservation when you make it.

O.K. you guys, come on now. The Disney Club Contract number which begins with a 5, can be found on the DC members website, it's for 15% off or so on your National Car Rental. Search for "rental cars" in the lower left search box, DC site. Present your DC card to receive the discount.

The Buena Vista Internet Travel Discount is a COUPON. The coupon shown at the link below must be surrendered when you pick up your car. Make sure you have a printout of the coupon with you. Because of click thru credits, you should also make your reservation from the "to cars" link @ the coupon site. and noted in the coupon instructions. The Coupon may be combined with the DC contract discount or other contract discounts.
