Fireworks Viewing

My family will be in Disneyland Father's Day Weekend and I am wondering where are the best places to see fireworks where we can sit. We have usually watched the parade in fantasyland on the stone benches near Alice/Matterhorn. This works great for disabled grandpa. Is this a good spot for the fireworks too? How long before the show starts do we need to stake a spot. This is our first time going peak season when the fireworks are being done! Thank You!

W went Christmas week last year. The parks were packed. We had a beautiful view from the platform @ the train station. Seeing Main St and the castle is breath taking It was easy to exit the park agter the show.
