I know that you said that FOTL was still available for hotel guests on the Shrek attraction, but many have posted, that they could not get FOTL when they were there recently staying on site. Do you know if this is permanent or is it just for peak times?

If it's true, it really is disappointing!

We were just there last week and the posted wait time was 2 hrs but they had a special entrance for resort guests and it only took about 10 minutes. So, unless it has changed just this week, resort guests still get FOTL but there was not regular express.

This was announced on IOA Central board by a team member who works at Shrek:

Announced today: SHReK will not be an EXPRESS attraction for the duration of the summer season. Hotel Keys and GAP passes only. I am pleased.

RescueRanger, this has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but I read your tag and was wondering why did you have to put $200 under your pillow to get a tag, but I had to put $1000 under my pillow to get a "witty" tag. I'm not sure that witty was really worth $800! :upsidedow :teeth:

Does "hotel keys" mean for guests staying @ the Universal resorts? What is the difference between that and express?

Express is like fast pass at Disney. You can buy the express ticket or enter your admission into a machine and it will give you a ticket for usage in FOTL. Your hotel key is for resort guests that have FOTL on ALL attractions.

We were there June 4-7. When my ds and I went to Shrek and asked for the express entrance the guy said its only for those staying on site. I told him we were and we showed our room keys and were let right in. No waiting and no flogging.
