is there something wrong with the resort?
Do not that many like it?
Hows the theming? It looks like a POR spanish style.
As in beautiful landscaping, theming, etc.

We are thinking of staying a couple days to resort hop
when there for a week in dec but 3 resorts may be a tad too many for a week.

o ya....the conventions....
Are there conventions there like every day of the year?

CSR is discussed quite often on this board. If you do a search you will find many fans of this resort.

There are lots of conventions but they don't usually interfere with any activities at the resort.

It wasn't our favorite resort but others really like CSR. It does have a great pool.

We stayed there last week and absolutely loved it! The CMs were very nice and the buses are great. The buses serve only one resort so it takes very little time to get anywhere. I actually liked walking to the Pepper Market in the morning for breakfast. The ladies at the pastry cart are very friendly and the waiters bring your drinks immediately. I didn't mind paying the 10% tip add-on because they definitely deserved it! The pool is also great. It is based around a big Mayan pyramid and is quite striking at night. There is also a huge hot tub and a jaguar themed water slide. My 10 yr old son absolutely loved the pool, adjoining playgroud and arcade.

The only problem with this resort would be that it is so spread out. However, there are bus stops near each building so you never have to walk far to catch a ride to the parks. I highly recommend this resort and will hopefully stay there again one day!

I almost fell out of my chair when I read this. What do you mean no one talks about CSR?? That's all I talk about!! It's the best moderate of them all. It even has 2 websites dedicated to it. Mine and Tracey's. Check it out below

We will be staying there for the first time in August :Pinkbounc

I hope we like it, now that I've booked it I'm having second thoughts, but then I have second thoughts about everything

We loved CSR!!! We were in Ranchos and didn't think the walk to the Pepper Market was very long at all. Plus we were very close to the pool. I really enjoyed the theming, even though I was hesitant at first. This is a GORGEOUS resort at night when its all lit up!

:wave2: I really like the CSR. I am a DVC owner so I stay at the villas most trips.

But once a year we have to go to CSR. I just love the theme & pool.

It's spectacular!!!:jumping3: :jumping3: :jumping3:

love it- its our favorite moderate resort there! we always stay in casita 1 close to the pepper market. my kids love the dig site and the surrey bikes. we were there in dec during the fla democratic convention and it was crowded during dining hours but otherwise the pool area was empty! they have a variety of food choices at the market and the margaritas are yummy btw! if I knew how to post pics I would show a few of my daughter at the dig site. we will be staying there again come this december! cant wait

We love CSR. We were there the week of Christmas last year and there were only four cars in the parking lot of Ranchos 7A the whole week until Christmas Day. We ate at Pepper Market every morning and never had to wait for a table. The food is awesome and the selection is great. Everyone in my family was able to find something to eat. We rode any theme park bus to El Centro to eat breakfast then left there to go to the parks. The dig site and Mayan pool is awesome. Go to Buzz's website and you can see why we all love CSR. We stayed at CSR our last trip because of what we saw on his website. Now we can't wait to get back there this trip in 16 days!

I absolutely love the resort! I can't think of one thing I didn't like about it. The busses are great, the buildings are beautiful, and the pool is fantastic. As far as convention people go, I didn't really see any when I was there in May. I'd rather be around a bunch of business people than a bunch of kids anyway. I also didn't find the resort too spread out. The walking wasn't far at all. I was in Ranchos 7A and everything was just a short stroll away. I'm going back in December and would stay here again, but I like to go to a different resort each trip.
