Is there a bus that goes directly to Downtown disney from Animal Kingdom?

We'll be eating lunch at the RFC and then plan on heading off to Disney Quest. Is there a direct bus from AK to DD?

I don't think so - As I recall, there are no "park to park" busses. BUT - there is a Rainforest Cafe in DD!!

When we were considering switching resorts to the Courtyard by Marriott, I'm sure I read that guests there could walk to the Downtown Disney bus stops to go to the major parks. Wouldn't that mean there are buses that go from the major parks to DD? :confused: :confused:

CJ - I could be wrong, so don't take my word for it!

I just remember that when we wanted to "resort hop" last year, we had to go from park-to-resort-to-park-to-resort, etc.DD MAY be different, but all I remember seeing there was the various resort busses. Somebody smarter than me should be able to give you a definitive answer!!

Sorry, CJ. There are no direct buses from AK to DD. The recommended way to get there is to go from AK to the TTC and switch to a DD bus there. Although you could also go to any resort and switch to a DD bus.

There is some park to park bus transportation. From Epcot you can bus to MGM and AK. From MGM you can go to Epcot and AK. Recently they were trying out a new route from DD to MGM and Epcot after 3:00 p.m.

The Mariott people were sort of correct. You can take a DD bus and get to all the parks. But you will usually have to change somewhere to another bus or monorail.
