They just called me to let me know that there was a change on my flight...I said, Oh ho, here we go....( thought of Beverly Lynn, I don't know why..LOL ) and then the lady said, your return flight is leaving at 9 pm instead of 8:58, I almost died!!! They called me to say I will stay in florida two more minutes!!! LOL

are you serious?
they are only supposed to call if the flight has changed in either direction of more than 14 min and if the nbr has changed too. or the equipment. hey at least they called. I used to call people in the middle of the night to tell them their flight was cancelled or delayed.....

Did the flight # change? They called me for my May trip because the flight # changed and the time also changed by 5 minutes. The person calling said they only called because of the flight # change so that we would have the right one when we checked in with electronic tickets.

Debbie did you ever get a call in the middle of the night telling you that your flight in the early am was cancelled or delayed???

No I haven't. Thankfully I've never had a flight cancelled last minute. The delays I've had are usually on the return flight. We had a 2 or 3 hour delay out of Orlando in May of last year due to t-storms where the plane originated. Too bad they couldn't contact us, we could have stayed at MK longer that day! :) The call for our flight last May with the flight # change came in the late afternoon or evening, about a month before.

I'm dead serious BL!!
I thought they were going to say it's been cancelled and you have been placed on another flight but no, that was not the case, she said the flight # is still the same , except we are leaving two minutes later! I was going to ask for compensation but we were too busy laughing!! LOL. Let's see what happens before we actually go, by the way she said she only showed 5 seats left for the outbound flight and 7 for the inbound. I guess it's pretty full.

We got one of those cancel calls at 12:30 am for a 7 am flight. We had just got to sleep. It was a special trip and had used FF miles and had first class tickets. We were up all night and finally got a flight on Delta and our miles back. I had done too much planning to just miss a day!! We did drag the first day due to lack of sleep because of the call. That must of been a very tough job Beverly Lynn. I am sure no one was real pleasant with the news or the timing. I am also sure you always did your best to try to help the poor traveler.
