This poor pathetic looking thing is my Disneyland rose. It is completely plagued with blackspot. I pulled all the leaves off yesterday and sprayed it. I hate using spray. I usually squish aphids and pull off infected leaves but this one was out of control. It even has spots on the stems. I hope it survives...

That's what my DL rose looked like last week! It is sprouting new leaves now. The one I got last year hasn't looked too good all season. I did purchase a new one from a garden store a few weeks ago and it's doing great.

Oh, since Bildmouse's DL rose recovered, perhaps there is hope for yours too.

Wasn't it just last year when you were looking forward to getting it and then was so happy when you did get it -- or am I thinking of someone else? Either way, I certainly hope this rose makes a full recovery for you.

Tulirose: Yes, that was me. I really wanted one and my boys bought me one for Mother's Day last year. It was really beautiful last year.
