My husband is currently living in Hertford and the rest of the family is still in the US. I wanted to send him something for Father's Day and don't know where to check. I want to send him either a food basket (cookies, candy, etc.) or a plant. Can anyone advise me on websites to order from locally (to you) or ideas?

Thanks for the help.

For a really impressive parcel with some lovely contents you won't beat these people but it may cost a little more than others:

Fortnum & Mason (http://www.fortnumandmason.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Fortnums)

Or there's this company:

Hamper.com (http://www.hamper.com)

or good old Marks & Spencers

Marks (http://www.marksandspencer.com/) but I don't know if they do candy etc

I would also check out Interflora. I have used them to send flowers to USA and they are always reliable- their UK site is here : www.interflora.co.uk and they also deliver hampers etc. too.

Hertford is about a 30 minute drive from me :) Is your husband enjoying his trip?

He is adjusting. He's been there since April and will continue through year end. I plan on visiting in August. Thank you for the information. Cheers.
